WASHINGTON, DC: Former Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene sharply criticized President Donald Trump this week over his administration’s military action against Iran.

She questioned both the strategy and the mindset behind the decisions. Greene appeared on 'The Megyn Kelly Show' on SiriusXM, where she criticized Trump for the bombings.

During an appearance on 'The Megyn Kelly Show' on SiriusXM, Marjorie Taylor Greene said she is “sick of it” and made it clear that she no longer recognizes the president she once supported.

She urged Trump to explain the reasoning behind the foreign policy shift.

Greene claimed the Iran strikes do not reflect the “America First” principles that defined Trump’s 2024 campaign and that many of his supporters believed they were voting for.

“And our president is saying that the Iranian people are all of a sudden going to topple their regime.”

“Well, I don’t think the Iranian people are going to be toppling their regime when they’re getting blown apart by the United States and Israel in an unprovoked attack. And yes, it was unprovoked.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene challenges Trump on war pledge

Marjorie Taylor Greene then turned her attention to Donald Trump.

“I wanna say, what is happening to the man that I supported, you supported? The man that denounced what happened in Iraq? The man that said, “No more foreign wars, no more regime change?” Promised it on the campaign. JD Vance promised it. Tulsi Gabbard promised it. All of them promised it.”

“I think it’s time for America to rip the bandaid off and we need to have a serious conversation about what is happening to this country and who in the hell are these decisions being made for and who is making these decisions.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene questions Trump’s mental state

Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized President Donald Trump’s decision to join Israel in bombing Iran. She continued by questioning Trump’s mindset.

“Then we have the president who, by the way, Megyn, this really needs to be said. Donald Trump has said repeatedly on camera and in interviews, he doesn’t think he’s going to heaven. Well, I want to ask a serious question, what is in his mind?” she asked. “What is his mental state if he doesn’t think he’s going to heaven, and he is a man towards the end, he’s in the fourth quarter, he’s towards the end of his life.”

On the radio show, Greene repeatedly challenged the coherence of the administration’s justification for the strikes and asked aloud whether Trump was fully aware of the consequences of his decisions.

“How does that pan out for the rest of us when we have a president of the United States who doesn’t think and is convinced he’s not going to heaven, what does that mean his decision making is?”
