LONDON, ENGLAND: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will require King Charles' blessing if they hope to depend on a steady stream of new projects, a royal expert has claimed.

According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, the monarch is needed "more than he needs them" by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and the royal rift "will sadly continue" well after 2024.

The current royal schism has widened as a result of the several lucrative deals that Harry and Meghan have secured in 2023.

Ingrid Seward, a royal scholar and author of the 2003 biography 'William & Harry,' remarked that there was a chance the two sides might put their differences behind them and move on.

Seward told GB News: "King Charles wants to see his son and his grandchildren, and last summer he apparently invited them to Balmoral, which they turned down."

"Meghan and Harry need the king and his blessing far more than the king needs them, sadly, so I feel we will be seeing them."

Seward added, "Harry’s been very clear that he doesn’t want to come to the UK unless he has the kind of protection he expects. Most of his court cases are ongoing, but in particular with the Home Office, he’s really put his foot down on this."

In his never-ending legal war with the media, the Duke of Sussex recently emerged victorious when he defeated Mirror Group Newspapers in a phone hacking case.

In light of the uncertainties surrounding the future of his and Meghan's professions, his petition for police protection while in Britain is still pending.

'Something is beginning to unwind at the heart of Meghan and Harry'

According to a new warning to the family, Hollywood has "probably had enough of" the Sussexes, so they better "deliver" in 2024.

PR specialist Mark Borkowski earlier remarked to the Daily Mail, "Something is beginning to unwind at the heart of Meghan and Harry. I think 2024 is going to be seismic, either because they’re going to do something to recover and find a new positive tactic or it’s going to be the undoing of the brand."

"It can only go one or two ways. It can’t stay where it is at the moment. Because it’s clearly not working," Borkowski further added.

The duo's designation as "losers", according to many experts and analysts, is a "firm signal" that Hollywood is no longer interested in them and "will be hard to overcome," per OK! Magazine.

The former 'Suits' star recently hinted at several "exciting" projects she is working on, having inked a contract with Ari Emanuel, CEO of William Morris Endeavor (WME), and his team in April 2023.

However, it has just come to light that the agency is reconsidering as the controversy surrounding Omid Scobie's explosive tell-all book, 'Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival,' grows more intense.

Meanwhile, "business as usual" carries on for the monarchy and its senior officials.
