LONDON, ENGLAND: Royal expert claims the entertainment sector may have been suffering from a “Sussex fatigue”, which may subsequently result in the industry “turning their back” on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.

During an interview with TalkTV, royal expert Kinsey Schofield claimed, "It's not just America in general, the industry is turning their back on Harry and Meghan," as per The Royal Observer.

‘They're not going to want to touch Harry and Meghan’

Schofield shared during the podcast, "If Harry and Meghan continue to attack the British royal family, the brands that want to work with the royal family, which is the family that is seen as elite and admirable, like Dior, Louis Vuitton, just luxury.”

He also predicted that the industry people, who want to be in the good books of the royal family, would not want to associate with the Sussexes.

She continued, “They're not going to want to touch Harry and Meghan if they continue to attack the family because they want to work with their family.”

Host Cristo Foufas added his insight about the purported difference and said, "They're not going to get Dior, they're going to get Walmart. They want to be marketing Bentley's; they're going to be marketing Subaru's; that is the level that they are.”

Another commentator chimed in, "I'm finding Harry and Meghan very intriguing at the moment. It's gone a little bit quiet, as I supposed the Sussexes are looking 'where do we go to now?'"

Experts think ‘2024 is going to be seismic’ for the Sussexes

Scholfield is, however, not the only royal expert who thinks that Brand Sussex is in murky waters.

According to Mark Borkowski, one of Britain’s most influential crisis managers, the upcoming year will be important for the royal rebels.

Borkowski shared with Daily Mail that the fiasco created by Omid Scobie’s book ‘Endgame’ and its Dutch translation’s purported dropping of the names of King Charles and Kate, Princess of Wales, as the royal members concerned with the skin color of Harry’s child has “backfired spectacularly” for the Sussexes.

He further claimed that he believed it “was clearly a publicity stunt”, even though Scobie has denied it.

Borkowski told the outlet recently, “Something is beginning to unwind at the heart of Meghan and Harry. I think 2024 is going to be seismic, either because they're going to do something to recover and find a new positive tactic or it's going to be the undoing of the brand.”

He added, “It can only go one or two ways. It can't stay where it is at the moment. Because it's clearly not working.”

Claiming that the Sussex brand might be “finished” in the next year because of the overall negative views they are garnering, Borkowski added, “We've see countless appearances of Meghan on red carpets.”

He explained, “The story of her being back in play in Hollywood is all about Meghan trying to return to her own turf and being available for work and getting back to Hollywood.”

However, he also added, “But I would suggest they are getting perhaps conveniently left behind by the Hollywood machine, who have probably had enough of them and enough of the negativity.”

“They're hinting their big plans ahead, but you know, we've heard that all before. So they have to deliver something now,” said the crisis manager.

He also commented on the rumor of the talent agency WME planning to drop Meghan and added, “I suspect this is in fact true. It just shows that constant erosion of the institution is not working.”
