Meghan Markle and Prince Harry felt ‘deep cut’ after being mocked by ‘South Park’ and Hollywood Reporter
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly disheartened after being ridiculed by ‘South Park’.
Earlier this year, the animated sitcom reportedly appeared to take a dig at the former senior royals by showcasing characters resembling them who were requesting privacy while traveling across the globe.
‘Harry and Meghan brand swelled into a sanctimonious bubble’
Besides, The Hollywood Reporter also called them out earlier this month by referring to them as the “losers."
The publication said, “In 2020, the royal duo fled a life of ceremonial public service to cash in their celebrity status in the States.”
It continued, “But after a whiny Netflix documentary, a whiny biography (Spare — even the title is a pouty gripe), and an inert podcast, the Harry and Meghan brand swelled into a sanctimonious bubble just begging to be popped — and South Park was the pin.”
“The show’s 20-minute ‘World-Wide Privacy Tour’ takedown in March was savage and was followed by Spotify dropping Archetypes, with a top executive labeling the duo ‘grifters,’” The Hollywood Reporter added.
‘Getting roasted cut deep’
Now, a source has said, as per OK! Magazine, “Getting roasted and portrayed as a laughingstock on Southpark cut deep.”
The insider also claimed that Meghan was more affected by The Hollywood Reporter’s digs as it “carries such huge credibility.”
The mockery of Harry and Meghan, however, did not end there as recently the former actress’s name was mentioned during an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’.
Comedian Colin Jost reportedly said, “A Christmas photo released by the royal family features a bad photoshop job where Prince Louis' finger appears to be missing and — this is sweet — Meghan Markle said she has a finger they can use if they need it.”

Meghan Markle allegedly gets hurt easily
Meanwhile, as per author Omid Scobie, Meghan is more sensitive than Harry.
He shared, “I mean, there are obviously things in the book that were great stand-up fodder.”

He further stated, “From what I understand, he [Harry] gets it, he got it. You know, I don't think there were any kind of hurt feelings about that. And quite honestly, if you're a public figure, a celebrity, you want to be included in those late-night monologues.”
“You want to be an SNL skit, these are the things that show that you've made it,” Scobie added.
