LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to be geared up for the new year as they “think 2024 will be the year of redemption” for them.
The Hollywood Reporter dubbed the former senior royals the “biggest losers” of 2023. However, the two have reportedly not given up and their fan following has also not decreased.
‘Harry and Meghan think 2024 will be the year of redemption’
An inside source revealed, “Harry and Meghan are in extremely high demand,” per the Us Weekly. Apart from this, another source also noted, “Harry and Meghan think 2024 will be the year of redemption.”
The source further added that Meghan's team is “shocked by how popular she is” and that they have “never seen anything like it.”
The source also pointed out that because of the vast number of work offers that Meghan has been getting — from brand endorsements to film roles —her team has been turning them down quite often.
Meghan Markle is ‘100 percent more interested in directing’
At present, the ‘Suits’ star’s main focus is the Archewell Foundation as she wants to give back. The source told the publication that “everything she considers must fall in line with an Archewell initiative.”
Apart from this, Meghan is also considering the revival of her blog, The Tig, which she used to run before marrying Harry, Us Weekly reported. On top of this, 'Suits' has once again surged in popularity as it made its way to Netflix in July, and talks of a reunion are in the air.
The first source stated, “Meghan’s been tight-lipped about potentially revisiting the series, but there’s hope that if the timing is right, something can be worked out.”
“Meghan would consider it. There have already been discussions,” said the second source, before mentioning that the 42-year-old is “100 percent more interested in directing and being behind the camera.”
Harry and Meghan are ‘choosing quality over quantity’
Much like his wife, Prince Harry is also reportedly quite busy with his work commitments. However, his interests are different than Meghan's.
The second insider said, “Harry and Meghan want to go in a different direction. They’ve said what they needed to say with regard to the royals. They’re moving on,” suggesting that his upcoming book from his four-book deal with Penguin Random House will not be another tell-all.
The first source further stated, “There’s this perception that Harry and Meghan have been snubbed in the entertainment industry. But the way they see it, they’re choosing quality over quantity instead of grabbing every opportunity that comes their way.”
Regarding their way of dealing with hate and criticism, the second source disclosed, “Harry and Meghan feel like everything with them is always blown out of proportion.”
“They try not to let the noise affect their lives. They are stronger than ever,” the source declared.
