Along with her empowering message, Markle shared a tender image and short video of her daughter, whom she shares with Prince Harry, 41.
In the picture, Markle is seen barefoot by a stream, holding Lilibet’s hand as they gaze into the water. The Duchess wore an elegant white button-down and matching trousers, while Lilibet looked adorable in an all-pink outfit with a matching handbag and her signature red hair tied in a messy ponytail.

The video clip showed the young princess gleefully running across a grassy backyard, which fans believe to be the Sussexes’ Montecito home. Markle also reshared the visuals to her Instagram Stories with the caption: “Happy International Day of the Girl.”
The couple, who also share 6-year-old son Prince Archie, have largely kept their children out of the public eye, making the post a rare personal glimpse into their family life.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend NYC gala days before
The Duchess’s post came just two days after she and Prince Harry attended the Project Healthy Minds Gala in New York City. The couple appeared in coordinated black suits as they were honored as Humanitarians of the Year for their efforts to promote online safety and mental health awareness through their Archewell Foundation.

Markle turned heads in a plunging black Armani blazer paired with gold jewelry, while Harry sported a matching black suit and tie. On the red carpet, the Duke of Sussex was seen playfully placing his hand on Markle’s lower back as the couple smiled and held hands.

Ahead of the gala, the pair released a joint statement expressing their motivation behind supporting the cause: “As parents ourselves, we have been moved to action by the power of their stories and are honored to support them,” they said. “We’re proud to be long-time partners of Project Healthy Minds as we work together to shine a light on what remains one of the most pressing issues of our time.”
