WASHINGTON, D.C.: Megyn Kelly has questioned the claim that President Donald Trump and his administration had no clue about ousted DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s husband's online shenanigans.

The Bryon Noem scandal surfaced after photos of him cross-dressing appeared online.

 In the April 3 chapter of 'The Megyn Kelly Show' the host referenced media reports claiming that Bryon Noem’s online activity was an "open secret" in the White House, Kelly said about Trump, “...There’s no way he didn’t [know]. If it was in the White House, he knew. Trump loves gossip,” even though the said reports didn’t openly name Trump.

Kelly’s remark follows the recent bombshell report by The Daily Mail, which placed Bryon Noem at the center of an alleged cross-dressing scandal.

“Yes, I was going to say that,” Maureen Callahan, host of 'The Nerve' podcast, told Kelly. “Don’t they say Trump is like the biggest gossip of them all?”

Responding to the curiosity, Kelly said that although Trump loves gossip, he would not reveal Noem’s husband’s secret.

“Totally. He loves gossip. I mean, to his credit, he wouldn’t run around like betraying the secret to the public on Kristi Noem, but it is a problem because [Noem] was blackmailable,” Kelly said.

Bryon Noem is reported to have sought a woman with a 'Barbie Doll'-like appearance online. He also reportedly sent $25,000 to his online connections.

Kelly speculates why Bryon’s secret came out

Speculating about what could have led to the scandal being exposed, Kelly said, “There are rumours, a woman was blackmailing him for money, ...so they came up with it [ idea to expose Bryon’s online activity].”

“There are rumors now and some reporting even that the reason this came out — I’ve heard that it was, like, bitter women in the big-breasted world who were blackmailing him for money who weren’t getting paid, so that they came out with it,” Kelly said.

“And she wanted people to know, ‘Hello, this is what I’m dealing with.’ And it did immediately shift the narrative on her. I was like, ‘Whoa, I understand everything,’” Kelly said.
