LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly and Rob Schneider made their perspectives clear regarding Ellen DeGeneres' recent attempts at a comeback following the cancellation of her syndicated talk show.

On 'The Megyn Kelly Show', the former Fox News host highlighted that in promotional materials for the new Netflix comedy special, 'Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval', the 66-year-old paints herself as a victim, claiming she was driven out of Hollywood.

Megyn Kelly says Ellen DeGeneres would be welcomed back into Hollywood due to her identity

Megyn Kelly said, "Out of all people on Earth to be feeling sorry for herself, Ellen should not be on the list… As she speaks from this grandiose stage on Netflix."

She pointed out the contradiction of claiming to be "canceled" while headlining a Netflix special, noting, "Hello, you haven’t been canceled if you are doing a Netflix special. She got 20 million for the one before this. I’m sure she’s fine."

Kelly also suggested that DeGeneres would be welcomed back into Hollywood due to her identity and political leanings, noting, "They’re going to let her back in because she’s a lesbian, she’s a leftist, and she didn’t hit one of their sacred cows."

She criticized the entertainment industry, asserting, "Nastiness? That’s their bread and butter."

Schneider chimed in with humor, referencing other prominent left-leaning women. "Look at Oprah, on how hard it is for her… Michelle Obama… Look how hard it is for women in America," quipped the comedian and anti-vaccine activist, sarcastically saying, "They’re hurting!"

Ellen DeGeneres discusses her Hollywood fallout in 'For Your Approval'

In her new Netflix special, 'For Your Approval', which premiered globally on September 24, Ellen DeGeneres reflects on her Hollywood fallout, recalling the first headline she encountered after the toxic workplace allegations surfaced: "How Ellen DeGeneres Became the Most Hated Person in America."

She humorously lamented, "It’s a horrible thing to say about somebody and to make it worse, there was no trophy, no awards banquet, nothing. Just the title. Just, you know, I made a sash at home and I wore that around just to feel like I had something, you know?" as per The Wrap

DeGeneres made it clear that she was not seeking to apologize for her actions, explaining how her catchphrase of "be kind to one another" ended up defining her public persona.

"I became a brand, a one-dimensional character who gave stuff away and danced every day up steps. Do you know how hard it was to dance up steps?" joked the 66-year-old, adding, "Would a mean person dance up steps? I don’t think so. Had I ended my show by saying, ‘Go f**k yourselves,’ people would’ve been pleasantly surprised to find out I’m kind."

She also addressed the double standards in behavior expected of men and women, stating, "We have all these unwritten rules based on gender of acceptable behavior, of who we’re allowed to be, and how we’re allowed to act."

"And if we don’t follow those rules, it makes people uncomfortable. And when people get uncomfortable, there are consequences. For those of you keeping score, this is the second time I’ve been kicked out of show business," remarked the 'Ellen' star.
