In 2005, Melania married Donald and the couple welcomed their son Barron Trump on March 20, 2006.

In the interview with host Ainsley Earhardt, she shared that her 78-year-old husband had hoped for more children, but she felt their family was complete.

"I was always perfectly fine with one. And Donald was encouraging [us] to have more," said Melania.

"I said, like, 'I'm completely fine with one because it's [a] very busy life.' I know how busy he is... and I'm in charge of everything. So that's why. It's just perfect," she continued.

She also emphasized the importance of showing her 18-year-old son Barron the value of hard work from an early age.

In her memoir 'Melania', there is a vivid description of her balancing work and motherhood with her son's toys scattered around her desk, according to People.

"I think it's very important that we show our children that we are working too. To give them an example [of] how life is," she noted.

"That they see us, that we are productive, that we have ideas, that ideas come to life. And that's how I was showing Barron," Melania explained.

Speaking about her husband, she also said, "He’s really a family man. He loves his family.”

Melania Trump calls son Barron 'an incredible young man'

Expressing pride in Barron's independence and intellect, Melania Trump noted how different his life is from other teenagers.

"He's an incredible young man. I'm very proud... His strength, his intelligence, his knowledge, his kindness. It's admirable," she said.

As a stepmother to Donald Trump's four other children, Donald Trump Jr, 46, Ivanka, 42, Eric, 40, and Tiffany, 30, Melania offered advice to blended families.

"To take [an] individual as they are. You cannot control anyone. You could control only your own behavior, your own words," she said.

Highlighting her approach to parenting Barron who recently started his college journey at New York University, Melania stressed on respect for individuality.

"I'm not in control of my husband. I'm not in control of his children. I'm not even in control of my child. He's his own person... We all have yes and no's. And we are all individuals," the former first lady shared.

"I bet she charged extra to say it with a straight face," a netizen remarked. Another commented, "How much is he paying you to say these things and to do this interview?"

"Laughable and pathetic well describes both of them," an individual penned. One tweeted, "She has to say that. It's in her contract."
