NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Barron Trump, the youngest son of former president Donald Trump's choice of college, was finally revealed after being spotted at New York University.

Nevertheless, what the social media trolls noticed was the 18-year-old's casual outfit, which many quipped was not suiting a teenager's first day at college.

Barron, who graduated from Florida's Oxbridge Academy in May, raised rumors about his higher studies after his father recently divulged he would opt for a college in New York. However, speculations mounted last week when he was not spotted at the freshman orientation on any campuses, and his name was missing from university systems.

What did Barron Trump wear to NYU on his first day?

Barron, the only son of Donald and Melania Trump, went extremely casual as he stepped into the NYU campus on Wednesday, September 4.

The teenager appeared in a white  Ralph Lauren polo shirt tucked into black pants.

Entering the downtown Manhattan campus, he completed the look with Adidas Gazelle sneakers and a black Swiss Gear backpack over his shoulder.

Secret Service agents surrounded him as he stepped out of his car, and before starting his classes, Barron first visited the dean's office, as per the New York Post.

It remains unclear whether increased security measures would be enacted for students at NYU this year due to Secret Service protection for Barron. He is expected to live at his father's Trump Tower located on Fifth Avenue in midtown and commute daily to the campus.

Notably, Barron is the first member of the Trump family to attend the prestigious NYU, where the tuition fee starts at around  $62,700 a year.

According to the Daily Mail, he would be studying at the Stern School of Business at NYU.

“It’s a very high quality place. He liked it. He liked the school,” his father Donald said. “I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn’t do that. We went for Stern.”
