Melania Trump celebrates city that 'inspires me everyday' amid son Barron’s college mystery

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Melania Trump took to X on Tuesday, August 27, to mark her 28 years in New York.

The former first lady, who has mostly been out of the public eye as her husband Donald Trump aims to get a second chance at the White House, posted an aerial view of Manhattan.

In the caption, she wrote, “New York City captivated my heart the moment I arrived, 28 years ago today.”

She also stated, “This electrifying town isn't just my home; it's a colorful canvas where dreams come alive. New York’s iconic skyline and vibrant culture inspire me every day.”

This came after Melania celebrated the anniversary of getting US citizenship on July 28.



 

She tweeted, “Becoming an American citizen is an achievement that inspired my ongoing commitment to this great nation. Today marks the 18th anniversary of this personal milestone.”

Netizens congratulate Melania on her ‘incredible journey’

“There is a chance to restore the vibrancy and integrity that NYC once had. All we have to do is elect Trump and it’ll set the recovery in motion…!” a fan of her wrote below her tweet.



 

Another fan said, “You are an inspiration to all legal immigrants. Congratulations on your incredible journey and I can’t wait to read more about it in your memoir.”



 

The third one mentioned, “Your once beautiful city and the love you still have for it will always be with you. Cherish your memories for years to come. Congratulations on your 28-year anniversary.”



 

The fourth one noted, “We love you 🫶🏻our beautiful First Lady 💗💖❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲.”



 



 

“Happy 28th Anniversary of your arrival in New York, Melania.🌹 I arrived in Chicago 38 years ago. Chicago skyline was just outstanding then as is today. Unfortunately, the political atmosphere is not so great in both cities,” the fifth one added.

A tweet read, “Sadly, the Democrat Party has turned New York City into a crime-ridden cesspool swarming with illegal aliens.”



 

Another comment said, "I see you as a very sensitive and artistic woman, and I hope that we see more of this side of you in your next term as First Lady!  Maybe you could inspire the little young artists in our country?”

Donald Trump calls Barron ‘a very good student’

Melania Trump's posts came amid the mystery surrounding son Barron’s college life.

Donald Trump had previously said that his youngest son would go to college in New York.

“He’s all set in a certain school that’s very good,” he reportedly shared without giving much detail.

At the time, the Republican leader also praised the teenager as he added, “He’s always been a very good student.”

He further stated on ‘Kayal and Company’ on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT that Barron has “really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny.”

“He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do,’” Trump added.

Melania Trump’s memoir will give an insight into her life

Amid these, Melania Trump is also coming up with a new book, titled ‘Melania: A Memoir’.

The memoir will be released on October 1 and as per Amazon, it “offers a glimpse into the life of a remarkable woman who has navigated challenges with grace and determination.”

The description further explains that in the book “Melania reflects on her Slovenian childhood, the pivotal moments that led her to the world of high fashion in Europe and New York, and the serendipitous meeting with Donald Trump, a chance encounter that forever changed the course of her life,” before adding, “Melania opens up about their courtship, life in the spotlight, and experiencing the joy of motherhood.”
