Melania Trump keeping son Barron in Mar-a-Lago 'bubble' amid Donald's hush money trial, claims source
WASHINGTON, DC: Those close to the pair claim that Melania Trump has sequestered herself behind the elaborate gates of Mar-a-Lago, creating a 'tight bubble' while Donald Trump sits in a Manhattan courtroom, as per Daily Mail.
The most important thing in the former First Lady's life is her son Barron, 18, who a source claims is turning into 'Little Melania'. The 6'7" hunk, who will graduate on Friday, May 17, from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, physically prefers his father, but on the heart, he is still his mother's child.
Sources close to Donald Trump say Barron is 'little Melania'
Regarding Donald Trump's youngest child, a source close to the couple said, "He's so regal. He's a little Melania." Notably, Melania finds sanctuary at the Trumps' private club, where she can take strolls along the beach and indulge in her favorite spa treatments.
Moreover, it is a far cry from the New York courtroom, where Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels, among other witnesses, are discussing how the porn star received a $130,000 hush payment to stay quiet about an alleged romance with Donald Trump.
However, Melania's bubble is beginning to pop as she struggles to prevent Donald Trump's purported transgressions from affecting their private family life.
Melania's protective nature toward her son Barron
Melania has always supported Barron and shielded him from harm. She ensured that Barron would receive the same treatment as Trump's children from his previous marriages when she revised their prenup soon after the 2016 election.
However, she kept Barron apart in one area—politics—and it is a position that she has maintained, in sharp contrast to what his half-siblings were doing.
Melania Trump put her foot down when the Florida Republican Party declared that Barron and the majority of the other Trump children would be attending the RNC as at-large delegates.
Her office said, "While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments."
The action demonstrates Melania's power over her adult son and husband, who frequently refers to her as 'my bride', a former Trump aide said.
Melania has always protected her privacy ferociously. She has reserved the family's Mar-a-Lago accommodations for herself, her spouse, and their son. Since leaving the White House, she has participated in very few public events and enjoys being unnoticed.
The relationship between Melania and Donald Trump
Several witnesses have testified on Donald and Melania's relationship in the four weeks since the trial began. Some have described the pair as a loving one that communicates frequently, while others have spoken of a husband who is contemptuous of his wife and believes he can easily replace her.
Like most things involving the Trumps, the marital finds raised more questions than answers, demonstrating the discrepancy between what is seen in public and what occurs behind closed doors.
Notably, Melania has made it possible for the public to perceive her in two ways: either as a smart operator who married for security and money or as a beautiful lady stuck in a lonely marriage. Melania has done this by arming herself with quiet and an aura of mystery.
Numerous witnesses recounted a loving, private love between the couple that was uncommon to see in public. Trump's former assistant Madeleine Westerhout said in her testimony, "If he was in the Oval Office I'd look in and there were times I could figure out he was on the phone with Mrs Trump."
Westerhout added, "He would say honey come over to the window [in the residence] and you could see into the Oval Office. He would say come to the window and (they would) wave to each other."
She further said, "'I believe they have a relationship of mutual respect. I just found their relationship really special. He cares a lot about her opinion. There was no one else who could put him in his place."
Moreover, some witnesses claimed that Donald Trump was very concerned about his wife's perception of him. Hope Hicks, Trump's former communications chief said, "President Trump really values Mrs Trump's opinion and she doesn't weigh in all the time, but when she does, it's really meaningful to him. He really respects what she has to say."
