Melania Trump wasn't on same flight with Bidens as they traveled to Rosalynn Carter's funeral
WASHINGTON, DC: Melania Trump did not take the same flight with Joe and Jill Biden as she traveled to the funeral of late former first lady Rosalynn Carter.
The memorial service for Rosalynn, who died on November 19, took place on Tuesday, November 28, at Glenn Memorial Church in Atlanta, Georgia, OK! Magazine reported.
It has been said that along with the Bidens, former First Lady Michelle Obama, former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former First Lady Laura Bush, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, were also in attendance.
Melania also paid her tribute but without her husband Donald Trump.
‘Former First Lady Trump was not on the flight’
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was later asked if the former model spoke with the current leaders but she said, “Well, as you know, when we landed, you saw everybody who was on the flight.”
Jean-Pierre also shared, “Obviously, the former First Lady Trump was not on the flight on the way here — on the way to — to Georgia.”
“I can’t speak of any private conversations that any of the First Ladies may have had with the former First Lady Michelle Obama or the current First Lady may have had with Mrs Trump. I just don’t have anything to read out for you,” the press secretary added.
‘Melania made service a photo op for herself’
Meanwhile, Melania’s ex-senior advisor Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has slammed her for her appearance at the service.
Melania Trump knew every time she made a public appearance, “a picture would be worth a thousand words.”

In Melania’s case, the picture would have to do all the talking. This time is no different!@MELANIATRUMP

She tweeted, “Melania Trump knew every time she made a public appearance, ‘a picture would be worth a thousand words.’ In Melania’s case, the picture would have to do all the talking. This time is no different!”
Wolkoff further stated, “Melania made this service a photo op for herself, instead of handling her appearance with dignity and humility, she used it as a catwalk.”
She added, “Rosalynn Carter, is a national treasure who exemplified a life of humanitarian service with a spirit of generosity, dignity, and compassion for all of God’s children. May she rest in peace.”
