Mia Goth's rep confirms she's not on Instagram after fan page's T-shirt jab at LaBeouf goes viral
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mia Goth's recent photo has gone viral, with a T-shirt appearing to send a cheeky message to her ex, Shia LaBeouf. However, there is a twist: Goth does not appear to have an official Instagram account.
One of Goth's fan pages shared an AI-generated selfie featuring a T-shirt with a pointed message. The 32-year-old actress reportedly filed for divorce from LaBeouf on October 6, following their 2025 separation.
Mia Goth's representative confirms she is not on Instagram
“Mia Goth is not active on any social media accounts, including Instagram,” her representative said in a statement to JustJared.
The verified Instagram account 'Mia Goth | Fan Page' has over 1 million followers, including celebrities such as Elle Fanning, Hailey Bieber, Dakota Fanning, Rosalía, Dove Cameron, Rachel Sennott, Lana Del Rey, Kim Petras, and Thomasin McKenzie, among others.
In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, October 8, the 'Frankenstein' actress was seen in a makeup-free selfie. What caught social media's attention was her cropped T-shirt, which appeared to carry a pointed message aimed at an ex.
The white T-shirt featured the words, “My ex is my biggest fan.” The caption was short and sweet, featuring just a lip-print emoji. The message, printed in bold black capital letters, did not mention LaBeouf by name but still managed to turn heads among followers.
Goth's post came just days after she reportedly filed for divorce from the 'Transformers' actor on October 6.
Mia Goth reportedly files for divorce from Shia LaBeouf after nearly 10 years of marriage
Goth filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The separation came after nearly a decade together. The actress also reportedly sought primary legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter, with visitation rights for LaBeouf.
She asked the court to deny spousal support to either party. This was the first marriage for both actors. The divorce filing reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
A day before Goth filed for divorce, LaBeouf settled a lawsuit for the second time with FKA Twigs. The singer, songwriter and actor dated him while he was separated from Goth.
Representatives for Goth and LaBeouf did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment. The two met and became a couple while filming 'Nymphomaniac: Vol II' in 2012.
They married in 2016, but their relationship had its ups and downs. According to NBC News, the couple previously separated and filed for divorce in 2018 but remained legally married. They later reunited in 2020 and welcomed their daughter in 2022.
In 2025, the couple reportedly split again and began living separately. In October 2026, Goth filed for divorce, marking another turning point in their relationship.
