WASHINGTON, DC: Michael Cohen issued a warning against his ex-boss Donald Trump's potential second term in office on Saturday, June 8, listing people he believes the former president might target with SEAL Team Six.

As Trump gears for a rematch with President Joe Biden in November, a major point of discussion in his legal challenges.

On May 30, the presumptive GOP nominee was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records, which were connected to payments made to Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election to silence her about an alleged affair.

Michael Cohen expressed concerns about potential consequences that Donald Trump's rival might face after his reelection

In a Saturday interview with MSNBC's Ali Velshi, Cohen, who was a star witness for the prosecution in Trump's hush money trial, shared his concerns about the potential consequences for himself and others should the former president be reelected, as per Newsweek.

"He's already said he intends to use SEAL Team Six to start rounding up his political enemies, there's no doubt in my mind that I'm somewhere at the top of that list," said Cohen.

He added, "I don't think that you're [Velshi] not at the top of that list, but you're certainly on that list as well as the president of MSNBC, [retired US Army] General Mark Milley, [former Vice President] Mike Pence, [former Secretary of State] Hillary Clinton, the entire Biden family."

"This is not a joke and the fact that he is even considered to be the Republican nominee, one of our two political parties, is so offensive. It should be so offensive to everyone in this country," asserted Cohen.

When questioned about using the Department of Justice to target political adversaries during an interview on Fox News' 'Fox & Friends', Trump stated, "I'm not sure I can answer the question."

During his talk with Fox News host Sean Hannity, the former president dismissed the idea that he seeks retribution against his political adversaries but mentioned that he would "have every right to pursue them."

"Number one, they're wrong. It has to stop because otherwise, we're not going to have a country. Look, when this election is over, based on what they've done, I would have every right to go after them," said Trump.

SEAL Team Six is known for Operation Neptune Spear

SEAL Team Six, officially the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), is among the US military's most elite units and part of the Joint Special Operations Command.

The unit was established in 1980 following the unsuccessful Operation Eagle Claw, the Iranian hostage rescue mission. Although the precise details of the unit's structure and operations are often classified, it functions in small, highly skilled teams adept at executing various missions.

SEAL Team Six is most renowned for Operation Neptune Spear, which led to the elimination of Osama bin Laden in Pakistan in 2011, and has participated in numerous other significant missions worldwide.

Following claims by Trump's legal team in January regarding presidential immunity in his federal election subversion case, Cohen remarked that even if a president commanded SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival, such actions would be protected by presidential immunity unless they were also impeached and convicted by Congress.

Miles Taylor warned Donald Trump would turn the Oval Office into an echo chamber if he wins in November

Former Trump official Miles Taylor has cautioned that if Trump regains office he is likely to appoint cabinet members ready to go to extreme lengths to implement his policies.

In an April interview on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe', Taylor stated that during a possible second term, Trump would refrain from appointing anyone who may oppose him, aiming to circumvent the errors of his previous administration.

"Donald Trump realized very late in his first term that he had far too many people who went to bed and grew a conscience every night and came back in with little inklings of a conscience to say no and push back," claimed the 'Blowback' writer, adding, "He doesn't want those people around. His preference is for that Oval Office to be an echo chamber. That's what he wants, and it's what he'll get."

Taylor became the first ex-Trump official to endorse President Joe Biden during his 2020 presidential campaign and went on to lead a group of more than 100 former officials who opposed a second term for Trump.

Following the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, numerous senior officials resigned and openly criticized their former leader.

In response to Taylor's remarks, Trump's spokesperson Steven Cheung told Newsweek, "Miles Taylor is a coward and lives a lonely existence because he's untrustworthy and a liar."
