Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella eager to wrap her chemotherapy as she reveals brain tumor diagnosis
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a candid interview with 'Good Morning America' on Thursday, January 11, Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella Strahan revealed she is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
The college student learned about her condition medulloblastoma in October 2023.

On October 27, she underwent emergency surgery at Cedars-Sinai for the removal of the mass, a day before her 19th birthday, according to People.
What is Medulloblastoma?
According to the Mayo Clinic, Medulloblastoma is a cancerous brain tumor that arises in the lower back part of the brain which is located at the base of the skull.
Medulloblastoma cells grow quickly and tend to spread to other parts of the brain.
Isabella Strahan says one must 'keep living every day' through the process
During the segment of 'GMA', Isabella said, "I'm feeling good. Not too bad."
In February, the 19-year-old will be starting her who will start chemotherapy at Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina.
"That's my next step. I'm ready for it to start and be one day closer to being over. .... I'm very excited for this whole process to wrap. But you just have to keep living every day, I think, through the whole thing," said Isabella.

Speaking to his fellow 'GMA' co-anchor Robin Roberts, Strahan said, "I literally think that, in a lot of ways, I'm the luckiest man in the world, because I've got an amazing daughter."
"I know she's going through it, but I know that we're never given more than we can handle and that she is going to crush this," the 52-year-old added.
How many children does Michael Strahan have?
Strahan welcomed two older children, a 32-year-old Tanita and 29-year-old Michael Jr, with his first wife Wanda Hutchins. He also shares two children, Isabella and her twin sister Sophia whom he shares with his second wife, Jean Muggli.

Isabella Strahan opens up on how she was diagnosed with a brain tumor
Isabella opened up about how she began experiencing symptoms of medulloblastoma.
"I didn't notice anything was off 'til probably like October 1. That's when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn't walk straight," the teenager said of the symptoms she experienced while beginning her freshman year at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Initially, Isabella shrugged it off as vertigo. However, her condition worsened on October 25 when she began "throwing up blood" after she woke up in the early hours of the morning.
She sought immediate medical attention after her family encouraged her to. "That was when we decided, 'You need to really go get a thorough checkup,'" said Isabella.
"And thank goodness for the doctor. I feel like this doctor saved her life because she was thorough enough to say, 'Let's do the full checkup,'" she added.
