LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Millie Bobby Brown has recalled the time when she lost a role in a Hugh Jackman movie as a child.

Millie Bobby Brown says she screen tested with Hugh Jackman when she was '11 or 12'
Brown was joined by her ‘Enola Holmes 3’ costar Louis Partridge, whom she told, “I screen tested with Hugh Jackman when I was like, 11 or 12.”
When Partridge asked her how she felt after doing it, she claimed that she already knew her performance was not good. “Broken. I felt like I probably didn't get it, because I think there was someone else that was better,” the 22-year-old ‘Stranger Things’ star added.
Dafne Keen got X-23's role instead of Millie Bobby Brown
Eventually, during the segment, the 23-year-old English actor declared that Brown was not lying as he noted that in 2017, she was around the right age group to play the role of X-23 in ‘Logan’.
“It's true. And it was for Logan. I just thought to throw you off with the Wolverine movies,” Brown added.
X-23 was ultimately played by the 21-year-old Spanish-British actress, Dafne Keen. She again reprised her role for the 2024 ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’.
Millie Bobby Brown claims to lack socialization
This came after late last month, Brown talked about one of the life skills she could not learn because of spending much of her childhood on the set of ‘Stranger Things’.
During a June 29 episode of the ‘Happy, Sad, Confused' podcast, the mother-of-one revealed, “Well, I didn’t go to public school, so maybe a bit of socialization.”
“Sometimes, when fans come up to me, they’ll be like: ‘Millie!’ And I’ll be like, ‘Ahh!’ And it’s not because I’ve … It’s just I don’t know how to react sometimes to people my own age. I have a harder time,” she explained.
Millie Bobby Brown says Jake Bongiovi is 'a social butterfly'
Brown further shared that on the set of ‘Stranger Things’ she “grew up with primarily men on crews — let’s change that — men over 40 years old. So I heard a lot of adult talk growing up, and didn’t really talk about the things you’re meant to talk about as a kid. You hear, ‘Where’s the grip? Let’s grab a ladder,’ you know, that’s your whole conversation.”
She, however, claimed that her husband Jake Bongiovi is not like her. “He went to boarding school and college, so he is like a social butterfly. When I met him, I really tried to lean in more to that. So I’m in my social era,” Brown added.
