NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The 'Morning Joe' panel on MSNBC previously discussed the exclusion of Donald Trump from the Colorado ballot.

In a recent segment, Joe Scarborough highlighted a new poll indicating that more than 50 percent of voters approve of the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling on the matter.

During the discussion, Joe Scarborough was accompanied by American broadcaster Mike Barnicle on 'Morning Joe.' Scarborough had to interrupt Barnicle to share the latest poll results, which were unfavorable to the former President.

As Scarborough addresses the recent poll regarding the disqualification of Trump from the Colorado ballot, the internet weighed in and wasn’t too impressed.

Joe Scarborough expresses shock over recent poll

While on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe,' Mike Barnicle and Joe Scarborough were engaged in a conversation about January 6 when images from Capitol Hill were displayed on the screen.

Scarborough interrupted Barnicle, stating, “54% of Americans -- Mike, hold on one second. 54% of Americans. 54% of Americans approve of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to kick Donald Trump off the state's 2024 presidential primary ballot.”

He reiterated with a tone of shock in his voice, "54% of Americans approve of it. Only 35% of Americans disapprove of it. The survey conducted by YouGov America revealed that 84% of Democrats, 48% of Independents, and 24% of Republicans approve of the ruling."

He continued, “Do polls dictate what courts should do? No, they don't. But when you have Donald Trump and people who want an authoritarian taking control of Washington, DC, again, saying, Oh, this is a radical decision. This is anti-democratic, when, in fact, it's the opposite.”

“That poll is just one snapshot to show the majority of Americans are like, yeah, yeah. You know what? He shouldn't be on the ballot because he committed insurrection against the United States,” said Scarborough.

Internet weighs in on Joe Scarborough’s report on Colorado ballot poll

After ‘Morning Joe’ shared the aforementioned poll and report on X, formerly known as Twitter, the internet was quick to respond to the same.

One user wrote, “Ah yes, the fake polls to manipulate public opinion. 🤣 These clowns are so predictable,” and another wrote, “Joe polled his own office to get these results.”

“Lololol nice fake polls guys,” wrote one user, and another opined, “This means nothing.”

People continued to troll ‘Morning Joe’ and Joe Scarborough as one user joked, “LOL was that the 10 people that you pay to watch your show?” and another wrote, “No way this is a representative poll.”
