LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent episode of MSNBC's 'The ReidOut,' host Joy Reid once again voiced her criticism of President Joe Biden, this time focusing on Israel's conflict with Hamas.

Just a week after her accidental on-air expletive regarding a drone strike killing US soldiers, Reid doubled down on her anti-war stance, emphasizing her identity as a "Red Letter Christian."

Humor and conviction: Joy Reid's response to the hot mic incident

Addressing her previous hot mic incident on 'The View,' Reid initially made light of the situation, saying, "I'm going to hit that with a cute no comment."

However, she proceeded to delve into her anti-war beliefs, aligning herself with the "Red-Letter Christian" movement, a non-denominational faction within evangelical Christianity that emphasizes the words spoken by Jesus in the New Testament.

Reid expressed her strong opposition to war, citing examples such as the possibility of Texas Governor Greg Abbott attempting to start a civil war over border issues and conflicts in the Middle East.

Reflecting on her history of opposition to the Iraq War, she asserted her anti-war stance, stating, "I'm a Study War No More kind of Christian," and urging a focus on economic and social progress while steering away from conflict. She emphasized, "Let's not do war at all."

Joy Reid on the 2024 election landscape

When asked about the possibility of Donald Trump winning the 2024 election, Reid acknowledged that any candidate has a chance if people vote for them.

She emphasized that every candidate starts with a base of support, noting, "As you said, every candidate starts out with a good 45% and then it's a matter of the rest," and acknowledged the importance of the remaining undecided voters.

Reid's recent hot mic moment occurred while she was airing a clip of President Biden addressing the border crisis. In an unguarded moment, she expressed frustration about the prospect of "starting another f***ing war" in the Middle East, likely in reference to a drone strike by Iran-backed militants in Jordan that resulted in the death of three US soldiers.

Unmasking political strategies

Throughout the segment, Reid criticized Republican leaders who, in her view, obstruct progress on issues like border security and immigration while attempting to take credit for the benefits that may arise later.

She highlighted President Biden's commitment to addressing the border issue, stating, "Over the weekend, President Biden said he's ready to take action if Congress is serious about solving the border issue," and blamed Donald Trump for trying to undermine bipartisan efforts to find solutions.

After the incident, Reid offered a quick apology on air for her use of explicit language, emphasizing the show's commitment to maintaining a PG-13 rating.

Despite the apology, Reid remained steadfast in her anti-war stance and her critique of political leaders, setting the tone for continued discussions on these pressing issues, saying, "I deeply, deeply apologize for that."

Divergent opinions spark debate on 'JoyAnnReid's' broadcast

A recent episode of MSNBC's 'The ReidOut' on the cost of living has ignited a polarized response, with users expressing contrasting opinions on social media.

One user wrote, "WOW... If you could collect everything that is wrong with America in one broadcast, here it is..."

One commented, "Someone should tell @JoyAnnReid the average American household spends an additional $11,434 more under Biden than they did during the last month of Trump's administration. I'm sure she know this though."

Another replied, "She says without using facts."

One wrote, "These people lol they can say this crap because they don't have to worry about how much things cost!."
