Naomi Watts 'proud' to reunite with Tom Holland in 'Spider-Man' 12 years after his film debut
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' delivered plenty of surprises for audiences. From its action-packed storyline to the introduction of Jean Grey, the latest Marvel film has impressed fans.
But the surprises didn't end with the release of Holland's fourth 'Spider-Man' film. Actress Naomi Watts has now shared images on social media, revealing that she is the voice behind Holland's EV.
Watts and Holland reunited 12 years after starring together in 'The Impossible', Holland's feature film debut. The actress called the moment a "proud" one.

Watts shared two behind-the-scenes images on her Instagram account. The first was a selfie of herself at her recording workstation.
The second showed Holland in his Spider-Man suit posing for a picture with a young fan wearing a Spider-Man mask. The location appeared to be a film set.
The reunion with Holland quickly caught the attention of Marvel fans. The two first shared the screen in the 2012 disaster drama 'The Impossible', in which Watts played Holland's mother.
Now, 12 years later, Watts reunited with Holland not on screen but as the voice of EV.
She captioned the post, "From playing your mom to playing your AI (100% human made). Congrats Tom, Destin, and the whole Spider-Man: Brand New Day team on the historic opening weekend!!" "Immensely proud to even just a tiny part of this incredible film!" she added.
The transition from playing Holland's on-screen mother to voicing his AI assistant has amused fans. Besides reuniting with Holland, the British actress also reunited with director Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously worked with her on 'The Glass Castle', released in 2017.
Now, who is EV? EV is an AI assistant, similar to Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark's assistant, JARVIS.
