LAFAYETTE, INDIANA: Natalia Grace, the Ukrainian orphan who was accused of being an adult masquerading as a child, has broken her silence after the finale of the docuseries 'The Confessions of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks.'

She claimed that she is doing well and thanked her supporters, but also revealed that she has moved out of her adoptive parent’s home and is seeking funds for a new life.

Natalia Grace posts on Instagram after the docuseries ends

In a January 5 Instagram post, Natalia Grace wrote, “I am okay and doing well and thank you all for your support and prayers.

"I wish I could tell you more [about] the show but I signed an agreement with the show to keep things confidential for now. I will let you guys know when I can for sure, but just know I am okay. Love y’all.”

She also shared a smiling selfie and a video to prove that the account was hers.

Natalia Grace’s post came after the shocking conclusion of the Investigation Discovery docuseries.

It featured her getting legally adopted by Antwon Mans and Cynthia Mans, who had defended her throughout Natalia Speaks. She was in tears as she finally found the family she had always wanted.

However, six months later, the producers of the show received a disturbing phone call from Mans.

Antwon Mans said, “Something ain’t right with Natalia. This girl is tweakin’. I feel like she’s the enemy in the house. And she said to us [that] we have held her hostage. Made us look like we’re the enemy.”

Cynthia Mans added, “Natalia is stabbing her family in the back over a complete lie.” Antwon Mans also accused Natalia Grace of “[doing] other things too,” but said she had crossed the line.

“Natalia does not have emotions for nothing but herself,” he said. “We’re done. We’re done with her," as In Touch reported.

Natalia Grace was previously adopted by Michael Barnett and Kristine Barnett in 2010, who later abandoned her and claimed that she was an adult sociopath. They were charged with neglect, but the case was dismissed in 2020.

Natalia Grace seeks a ‘fresh start’ with GoFundMe

Natalia Grace has now moved out of the Mans’ home and is trying to start her own photography business. She has also opened a GoFundMe page, where she wrote, “I recently moved out and I’m saving money to get my own house so I can have a personal place of my own."

"...I am wanting to start my own photography business to create a fun and awesome way to have fun and do what I love which is taking pictures and creating memories for myself and other people!," she added.

She also explained that she has a type of dwarfism called Diastrophic Dysplasia which requires multiple surgeries.

She wrote, “I’ll likely have to have major spine surgery and even more surgery on my legs. The costs associated with these surgeries are in excess of $500,000 because the specialist does not accept my medical insurance."

"The first treatment I need is to have my spine corrected as if I leave it too long it could lead to paralysis and incontinence," she added.

Natalia Grace is asking for donations to help her with her medical expenses and her new life. She said, “I am doing this so I can have a fresh start in life as an adult and get past everything that happened in my life!”
