NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: President Joe Biden shared his resolution of connecting every person in America with a fast and reliable internet connection over the next six years on X (formerly Twitter).

However, netizens were not impressed with the announcement as they felt that the incumbent's efforts would be better directed toward solving the border security issue and economic crisis at present rather than internet connectivity.

President Joe Biden promises high-speed internet for all

Taking to X from his personal account on February 26, the President shared a 'Biden-Harris' campaign poster that read, "By 2030, EVERY PERSON IN AMERICA will be connected to RELIABLE, HIGH-SPEED INTERNET."

"We’re building affordable high-speed internet everywhere in America," he wrote in the post.

"So your children don’t have to sit in a McDonald's parking lot to do their homework, businesses are able to thrive, and farmers and ranchers are able to sell their products," the President added in his tweet.

Internet reacts to Joe Biden's tweet about providing high-speed internet to all

The netizens were not impressed with Joe Biden's resolution to provide high-speed internet to all by 2030 and asked the to direct his efforts to other issues such as border security crisis and economy of the country.

"High-speed internet is great but it’s meaningless when we have an open border," wrote a user.

"This administration should prioritize the safety of our citizens above all else. It’s the main job of government. Yet this regime has allowed in over 7 million illegals. That’s unforgivable," the user added.

"I rather have affordable gas and food," stated another.

"Maby make an economy where people don't need 3 jobs to afford wifi, you know you failed at your job when the people you serve can't afford $70 a month," expressed one user.

"It's important that illegal immigrants have high speed internet access as well," said another.

Another user asked, "Now you care about farmers or, is it just because it’s almost November?"

"We keep hearing that, but there is still no progress here," complained one user.
"Where I live, we have fiber internet at both ends of our street, yet we can't get fiber at my location. 😂," they added.

"2024: Biden's grand plan for affordable high-speed internet is a game-changer!" wrote a user sarcastically.

"Now your kids can bid adieu to their impromptu McDonald's study sessions. But wait, there's more! It's not just about boosting business and empowering farmers—it's also a golden opportunity for the CIA and FBI to sharpen their spying skills. Who knew progress came with a side of surveillance?" they asked.
