TERRAL, OKLAHOMA: The autopsy results for the teenage boy, who was found dead in a "fetal position" wearing only a pair of shoes on the side of the road, have been released.
Oklahoman Noah Presgrove was found off a highway on September 4, 2023. He had last been seen at a birthday party about a mile away from his home.
A day after his body was discovered, the 19-year-old's death was declared as suspicious. The recently released autopsy results say the cause is still "undetermined".
What did Noah Presgrove's full autopsy report reveal?
The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office concluded after more than eight months that Noah died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries, as per Mirror.
He had suffered multiple broken ribs, severe skull and neck fractures, internal bleeding, and abrasions all over his body, according to the report, which was made public on Monday, May 13.
A clump of his skin and hair was discovered in the middle of the highway, and the skin on the left side of his scalp had been torn off to the bone.
Leonardo Roquero from the Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner further reported that "a clump of hair was observed on the right buttock without blood or tissue."
According to police investigations, the teenager's head seemed to be "caved in" as a result of multiple minor injuries as well as a major fracture that spanned the length of his skull.
Noah's upper and lower teeth were broken with a "few fragments found inside the mouth." The 19-year-old's remaining teeth were strewn across the road a few feet away from his body.
Along with internal bleeding of about 3.2 pints, he was bleeding out of his ears and had injuries to his heart, spleen, and stomach, a cut on his lower lip, and two punctured lungs. There were also several grazes on his torso and both buttocks.
In the report, Roquero mentioned, "He was naked and was only wearing unmatching shoes. There was a pair of shorts found several feet from the decedent and was reported to be his," and, "additionally, there were three pieces of a white metal chain as well as part of a tooth present several feet from the decedent."
Noah Presgrove's brother believes his death wasn't a 'hit-and-run'
Noah is said to have attended a house party and consumed alcohol prior to going on an all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) ride with friends that ended in an accident. After returning home, he apparently argued with his girlfriend and left before being discovered the following day.
His brother, Dailen Presgove, believes that the incident was not a "hit-and-run." He told NewsNation, "Somebody's got to know something. You know if there is 40 people standing around, and if someone walks off, someone knows about it."
He added, "With how close everyone is, with how many pictures were taken on Snapchat, you think that something has to turn up. Somebody has to know something and just doesn't want to say it."
"He was in the fetal position. And his body was covered up. … You can see blood seeping through the covering. … As I’m looking at it, it just seems weird. The placement of the body. The tooth, the shorts. It doesn’t look like a hit-and-run," stressed Dailen.
