GRAHAM, NORTH CAROLINA: Emmett Martin, a Super Tuesday voter from North Carolina, has gone viral for his explicit and misogynist comments regarding why he believes Nikki Haley shouldn't become the president.

The man, who was speaking from Graham, North Carolina, was trolled by the internet after he confessed to an NBC News reporter that he never even considered the former governor of South Carolina as a candidate because she was lacking in a certain kind of genitalia.

North Carolina voter's sexist reason for not voting for Nikki Haley

While speaking to NBC correspondent Shaquille Brewster, Martin said that he would not vote for Haley because she "has no balls to scratch".

However, it is important to note that it was not just Nikki Haley that the voter disapproved of, in fact, he was against the notion of any women being in power.

Martin declared in his interview that it's women in general who do not make the cut for him. According to him, they are only good for "having babies and taking care of the house."

The man proudly declared he was ''old school'', as he added that there are women out there who know what they’re doing but that his idol Donald Trump could help guide them.

Interestingly, NBC's Brewster said this wasn't the first time voters have told him that they wouldn't vote for Haley due to her gender, however, he mentioned that it was rarely said "this explicitly and in front of a camera".

Haley is the only remaining Republican primary contender against Trump, who is running for re-election after losing to President Joe Biden in 2020. However, given her performances in the primaries, she has a lot of catching up to do with Trump.

Internet blasts North Carolina voter for his sexist remarks against Nikki Haley

Martin's thoughts in the interview have gained wide attention on social media, with several users slamming him for his misogynist remarks.

A social media user wrote, "Gender doesn't define leadership capability. Such notions are as outdated as a dial-up connection in a Wi-Fi world."

Another user related Martin's thoughts to the person he supported and said, "Trump's a misogynist and so is this guy. People vote with who they relate too."

One person called out Martin for his obsolete ideas and commented, "When he says Old School, he means Prehistoric."

Another user went on to write, "Oh dear...I hope God gave him daughters. A Woman's place is in the House & Senate."

One person wrote, "Maybe it’s time to stop talking to these people. Stop trying to get into their heads and figure out “where they’re coming from.” They’re coming from the 1950s. There, I wrote your story for you."

Another user said, "This is really disturbing"
