MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Dana White, CEO and president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), showered praises on Donald Trump during his appearance on Fox News' 'One Nation'.

The two were spotted together during UFC 302, which took place on June 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It was one of Trump's first public appearances since he was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the hush money trial.

Dana White says Donald Trump is the 'most resilient human being' he has ever met in his life

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade questioned White about Trump's resilience and spirit, comparing it to that of the many fighters the UFC CEO has encountered in his career. Kilmeade said, "You know a fighter’s heart. You stare into more fighters’ eyes than anybody else to see what’s in there. Where does he rank at 77?"

Without hesitation, White responded, "Number one. Take any of the greatest fighters of all time, Trump is number one. The most resilient human being that I’ve ever met in my life," as per Mediaite

Kilmeade then asked, "In what respect?"

White noted, "Why keep doing this?" referring to Trump’s continuous public and political engagements.

The UFC CEO added, "You know, you’ve got money. You’ve got a great life … Why keep doing this? And the one thing that I can tell you — and this is a fact — this guy loves this country, right? And he loves all Americans, regardless of what color, religion or whatever it is. He’s not a racist. He’s a good human being, and he loves America, and he cares about this country. Period. End of story."

The bond between Trump and White stretches back decades to when the former president's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City became one of the first major venues to host UFC events in the 1990s, even though the sport was banned in many jurisdictions.

White has remained a loyal supporter of Trump, even speaking on his behalf at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

When Kilmeade asked if White would be there to support Trump at this summer’s Republican National Convention, White affirmed, "I’ll be there."

Internet reacts as Dana White showers praise on Donald Trump

One said, "ROLMAO that’s funny," and another remarked, "Good, let him fight in the UFC but don’t let him into the WH!"

"LOL, he has more heart to dodge the draft and refuse to testify?" joked a person, while someone else added, "Yup, White might be absolutely correct 'cause a diet of Big Macs, KFC morbid obesity will do that to a heart."

"Sure, if you only count those who have a cold lump for a heart," quipped one more. Another person commented, "Yeah.... not even in his dreams. Not in any (real) reality."
