WASHINGTON, DC: A few days after being found guilty in his Manhattan trial, former President Donald Trump was greeted on Saturday, June 1, by a thunderous standing ovation when he came to UFC 302, according to the New York Post.

As Trump arrived at The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, he was greeted with thunderous applause. UFC President and close friend Dana White accompanied him.

As he made his way to his ringside seat, the former commander-in-chief raised his fist at the audience and shook dozens of hands. He also stopped momentarily to greet comedian and UFC analyst Joe Rogan.

Rogan said during the broadcast, "The round of applause he’s getting right now is pretty staggering."

Notably, Trump's presence occurred just two days after he was found guilty by a Manhattan jury on 34 felony counts of manipulating business records in an attempt to sway the 2016 presidential election.

He was found guilty of paying his former 'fixer' attorney Michael Cohen $130,000 in 'hush money' to get porn star Stormy Daniels to stay quiet about an alleged one-night affair with Trump.
