TUCSON, ARIZONA: Former President Barack Obama took a swipe at his successor, Donald Trump, mocking his dance moves at a recent rally.

Campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris in Tucson, Arizona, on Friday, October 18, the 44th president joked people would "worry" if their grandfathers "acted" like Trump.

Obama was referring to the real estate moguls' rally in Oaks, Pennsylvania, held earlier this week, where he played songs, including  'Ave Maria' and 'YMCA', and danced to the music for nearly 30 minutes before he ended the event.

Asking the crowd whether they had seen Trump lately spewing word salads, Obama cited his successor's town hall meeting, where he stopped taking questions and instead swayed to the music.

"You would be worried if your grandpa was acting like this," the Democrats said, as per The Mirror US. "We don't need to see what an older, crazier Donald Trump looks like with no guardrails."

Obama urged the rallygoers to vote for Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov Tim Walz, claiming Trump's run was coming to an end.

"We've had enough arrogance and bumbling and bluster and division. America is ready to turn the page," he said.

With only three weeks left for Election Day, Obama has come to the forefront to boost Harris' support, holding campaigns throughout the nation aiming to flip key battleground states blue in November.

Arizona, with its 11 Electoral College votes, is a swing state that could be decisive in the victory of Trump or Harris. The main concerns in the state mirrored those in other battleground states and at the national level, including the economy, healthcare, abortion, employment, and immigration crisis.

In 2020, President Joe Biden narrowly won Arizona against Trump. According to FiveThirtyEight's polling average, the MAGA leader holds a two-point lead against Harris in the Grand Canyon State.

Internet agrees with Barack Obama's remarks of people worrying if their grandfathers acted like Trump

Concurring with Obama's take on Trump dancing in the rally without taking questions, netizens claimed the real estate mogul was not cognitively sound.

"Imagine what your kids would hear around the dinner table. I wouldn’t allow impressionable children to spend time with a grandpa like that," one user said.

"If our grandpas were acting like Trump we’d have the nursing home on the line stat," another opined.

"This intelligent man told us to vote for @HillaryClinton and this country didn’t listen! That’s how we got in this mess in the first place !!!! Are you going to listen to him This time," added a third user.

"Senile Donald Trump needs to go play bingo on Friday nights instead of hosting rallies," read a fourth response.

"ABSOLUTELY Time for #DementedDonnie to be flushed from our lives to live out his days cheating at golf," someone else said.

"He does have a point," an individual said.

"Obama is so good with jokes!!" another user added.

"I wouldn't let him go on TV sitting on a puppy pad," read another funny remark.
