Instead of staying away from performing, the rapper surprised fans by returning to the stage at Coachella on Saturday night, April 12. He initially appeared seated in a wheelchair before standing up mid-performance, energizing the crowd with his comeback.
The rapper was injured on Monday night, April 6, after an altercation at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, just north of Miami. The incident resulted in a leg injury, leading many to expect a longer recovery period.
Offset returns to Coachella after being shot
The rapper made sure he did not miss any chance to be at Coachella. Offset was seen performing during Weekend 1 while recovering from a recent injury. He arrived on stage in a wheelchair but quickly turned the moment into a full performance as the crowd cheered loudly. He later stood up and continued his set, moving around the stage and engaging with the audience.
The rapper shared clips on Instagram from the show, first showing himself seated in a wheelchair before rising to perform. He appeared energetic throughout, even walking and jumping during parts of the set.
He also posted photos of himself in a red long-sleeve shirt and black sweatpants, along with a skeleton face mask and hat. At other times, he was seen wearing black pants and sneakers.

Authorities investigate altercation linked to shooting
Offset was hospitalized after a shooting that occurred following an altercation. Police later confirmed that his injuries were not life-threatening. On Tuesday, April 7, a spokesperson said Offset was in stable condition, although his exact medical status had not been fully confirmed at that time.
By Friday, April 10, Offset's representative confirmed that he had been released from the hospital and was able to walk again. They thanked the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for their care and support.
According to AP News, rapper Lil Tjay was arrested for his involvement in a fight before the shooting. Police said he was charged with causing a public disturbance and driving without a valid license.
Later, Offset shared a message on social media thanking fans for their support. He said he is focusing on his recovery, his family, and returning to music.
