COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA: Nikki Haley, the former United States ambassador to the United Nations and the current GOP presidential contender, denied cheating on her spouse after being accused of having two extramarital affairs during her South Carolina gubernatorial campaign, according to multiple sources.

Reportedly, additional witnesses came forward to disclose to DailyMail that Haley's denials of two alleged encounters from 2008 are untrue and that the purported trysts were blatantly public and well-known among South Carolina politicians.

Affidavits signed in 2010 by Will Folks, 49, and Larry Marchant, 61, claimed they had sexual relations with the South Carolina politician before her elevation to the position of governor.

The contents of the affidavits were covered by major news agencies at the time, but this is the first time they have been published outside of Folks' own document, which he shared on his blog.

At the time, Haley, 51, denied both, claiming that she was "100% faithful" to her husband of 28 years, Michael Haley, the father of her two children, who was serving in Afghanistan as part of the National Guard in 2012.

Haley now frequently mentions Michael as a motivation for her running for the POTUS.

What was revealed in the affidavits signed by Folks and Marchant in 2010?

Haley's infidelity while serving as a South Carolina senator was well known to several GOP insiders, who revealed to the outlet that they had heard stories of her alleged sultry encounters in the back of her Cadillac SUV, her "canoodling" in her lovers' laps at bars, and the late-nights spent in a duplex in Columbia.

The news coincides with Haley's campaign's preparation for the January 23 New Hampshire primary, where she will face off against Ron DeSantis for the Republican presidential nomination.

The Florida Governor defeated Haley by two points with 21% of the vote in the January 15 Iowa caucuses.

Will Folks worked as a communications consultant for Haley while she was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2007.

In an affidavit dated 2010, Folks attested that he and Haley had engaged in an inappropriate physical relationship that involved various instances of indecorous sexual contact.

According to Folks, the first kiss between him and Haley occurred inside a parked car in early 2007.

Thereafter, he claims to have had regular trysts with Haley at his apartment located in downtown Columbia.

It is worth noting that Folks had gotten married in June 2008.

In his October 2010 affidavit, Folks wrote, "Representative Haley and I shared our first kiss while sitting in her parked car outside of MacDougal's restaurant and bar in downtown Columbia, S.C. This kiss took place in early 2007 following an evening with friends at the nearby Liberty Taproom. After this first kiss, Rep. Haley drove us to the parking lot behind the neighborhood center at Emily Douglas Park where we parked for approximately forty-five minutes. There we slid back the seats of her Cadillac SUV so that Rep. Haley could climb on top of me."

Folks further stated that the alleged affair continued through spring 2007, with subsequent trysts taking place at his Columbia apartment.

He also claimed that "a few other romantic encounters occurred in her SUV, including one in the parking lot of the SC Policy Council,” and another “in her State House office."

He noted that he ended the affair in June 2007 when he began dating the woman he would later marry, Katrina Steinborn.

In a sworn declaration that same year, Larry Marchant Jr, 61, a lobbyist for Columbia, claimed to have had dinner, cocktails, and sex with Haley in her hotel room during a conference in Salt Lake City in June 2008.

Haley's two children, Rena and Nalin, were around ten and seven years old at the time.

Marchant wrote in his affidavit, “Rep. Nikki Haley and I were in Salt Lake City attending a conference together on June 14-15, 2008. We were both staying at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown.”

He continued, “After a night together of dinner and drinks with other participants of the conference, Rep. Haley and I returned to the hotel together. We went back to her room where we had sexual intercourse and I spent the remainder of the evening. I left her room at approximately 6.00 am.”

Marchant explained, ”I came forward publicly on this matter only after being contacted by the press and after hearing Rep Haley claim that she had been One Hundred Percent faithful to her husband in response to the Folk's allegations when I knew her statements were absolutely false.”

Marchant, who was then married, was divorced by his wife in 2013 who noted in the court documents, that her decision to part ways with her husband was attributed to an alleged affair with Haley.

Despite the allegations, the Republican presidential candidate was able to successfully suppress the claims and avoid any potential scandal.

Haley ultimately went on to be elected as the Governor of South Carolina in November 2010.

Haley was governor until 2017 when she was appointed as the US ambassador to the United Nations by the Trump administration.

Internet ridicules Haley amid allegations of having extramarital affairs a decade ago

People on X slandered the GOP presidential contender for allegedly sleeping with her communications consultant and a South Carolina lobbyist prior to her becoming the Governor of South Carolina.

One X user remarked: "Once a cheater, always a cheater"

Another user quipped: "Trump and his supporters can hardly condemn her for that can they?"

Another user tweeted: "Donald Trump cheated on Wife Number One with Wife Number Two, and cheated on Wife Number Two with Wife Number Three, and cheated on Wife Number Three with a porn star."

One user said: "I dont like Haley at all, but this is her private life and non of our business. It's 2023 not 1970."

Another X user wrote: "Bumping uglies between consenting adults never bothered me. The loss of trust between the parties involved is a private matter for them to work out. In all other areas Ms Haley's politics are filled with economic nonsense, and perhaps worse, racism, misogyny, and bigotry."

Another user opined: "We don’t care about that anymore. Trump f**ked a porn star while his wife was pregnant. Maga needs to stop clutching its pearls."

Finally, this user remarked: "Pales greatly by comparison to Trump's chronic womanizing, extramarital history. I'll take Nikki Haley any day over narcissistic, lying (election was stolen phony claim while he's the one who tried to steal it from the rightful winner) Trump."
