Internet mocks ‘jealous’ Trump after he accuses Nikki Haley of having 'bad money behind her'
INDIANOLA, IOWA: Republican frontrunner Donald Trump accused rival White House hopeful Nikki Haley of "bad money" funding her presidential campaign.
In his closing pitch a day before the state caucus, the former President made scathing remarks against the former South Carolina Governor while addressing his supporters in Indianola, Iowa, on January 14.
Pointing at Haley's surge in polls, Trump stated, "She's starting to fade as people find out. And she's got some really bad money behind her."
"She's got Democrats financing her in New Hampshire. She's got Koch who's a globalist, total globalist. He's fighting her."

Reports from December 2023 say Koch network pledged to invest $70 million in her campaign hoping her to attain a second or third position in the Hawkeye state.
According to the website FiveThirtyEight, the former UN Ambassador is now second in polls behind Trump.
After a neck-and-neck competition, she came ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in both Iowa and national Republican primary polls.
Irrespective of the Civil War controversy shadowing her campaign for a short period, Haley succeeded in mobilizing her voter support as the GOP members of Iowa are all set to select their presidential nominee on January 15.
Donald Trump doubles down on Nikki Haley's campaign funding
The Republican frontrunner, speaking to Iowans, ridiculed the only female presidential candidate, saying she was not up to the job. He further alleged that both Haley and President Joe Biden are "backed by warmongers and left-wing globalist Wall Street Millionaires and billionaires who crave to destroy the MAGA movement.
His remarks came days after calling Haley a "globalist" and criticizing her for receiving donations from venture capitalist Reid Hoffman.
Despite the former South Carolina Governor's increasing popularity, Trump is leading the polls with a strong dominance.
If the opinion polls reflect in the state primaries and elections, the former President will likely face Biden in a potential rematch in November 2024.
