Trump ally Laura Loomer slammed for floating theory that Nikki Haley is 'manipulating weather'
WASHINGTON, DC: Far-right political activist Laura Loomer linked the blizzard warnings in Iowa to a political conspiracy theory.
On Thursday, January 11, she took to her X account, sharing a bizarre connection with the blizzard and the upcoming Iowa caucus.
"Is the Deep State activating HAARP to disrupt the Iowa Caucus?" Loomer posted on the social media platform.
The staunch Trump ally accused GOP presidential contender Nikki Haley of being behind the extreme weather.

We all know @NikkiHaley has a lot of friends in the defense industry and Military industrial complex. She’s losing in Iowa, and now Iowa is set to get hit with a ONCE IN A DECADE blizzard as Donald Trump is set to… pic.twitter.com/K9YKbwZ2Oh
Claiming the former South Carolina Governor has friends in the defense and military industry, Loomer added, "She's losing in Iowa, and now Iowa is set to get hit with a ONCE IN A DECADE blizzard as Donald Trump is set to dominate the Iowa Caucus."
"Is the Deep State using HAARP to rig the Iowa Caucus? Looks like weather manipulation to me."
Arguing the snowstorm "accelerated out of nowhere", the conspiracy theorist shared a weather radar indicating the incoming blizzard.
Blizzard warnings slow down campaigns
National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning in large parts of Iowa. According to local news outlet Des Moines Register, it will be effective from 10 am Friday, January 12, until 6 am Saturday, January 13, in northwest and central Iowa.
The severe winter storm warnings have slowed down the Republican presidential candidate's final campaign stretch as the state will select the presidential nominee on January 15.
White House hopefuls Haley and Ron DeSantis gave their fiery one-on-one final debate in Des Moines on January 10, emphasizing why the voters would choose them instead of Donald Trump.
On the other hand, the former President did a town hall with Fox News simultaneously boasting his credentials, including revoking Roe v Wade.
As per The New York Times, in light of the extreme weather forecast, Haley canceled her in-person events in the Hawkeye state scheduled for January 12. However, DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy decided to continue with the events for now.
With Iowa all set to kick start the election year race, Trump has a sizeable dominance in the opinion polls, whereas Florida and former South Carolina governors are in a head-to-head competition for the second place.
