WASHINGTON, DC: Michael Fanone, former DC Metropolitan Police Officer, was recently interviewed by MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart. During the segment that aired on January 6, 2024, 3 years after the Capitol attack, Fanone spoke about the consequences of the riots still looming and the importance of fighting for American democracy heading into the 2024 election.

An emotional Capehart went viral on social media as he conversed with Fanone on MSNBC. Investigative Journalist and Trump supporter Laura Loomer has shared her critique of the news anchor brutally and called him a “cry baby b***h.”

Laura Loomer takes a dig at Jonathan Capehart

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Laura Loomer shared a clip of an emotional Jonathan Capehart on MSNBC as he spoke to Michael Fanone about the events of January 6, 2021.

In her post, Loomer wrote, “WOW! Look at this little CRY BABY BITCH reporter at @MSNBC who literally cried on air today over the 3 year anniversary of J6. This is just so theatrical and fake. He should be crying over the stolen election. The real insurrection was in Nov 2020.”

In the clip, a teary-eyed Capehart, with a shaky voice said, “I’m going to try to get through this…um, thank you for what you did three years ago today, Um…please tell me your thoughts on this third anniversary.”

As this clip mocked Capehart, it played a video of Tobey Maguire crying.

Meanwhile, MSNBC uploaded the segment to their YouTube channel titled “MSNBC anchor gets emotional thanking Jan. 6 officer who was attacked.”

"Desperate times calls for desperate measures," wrote one user, while another wrote, "What an embarrassment. Snowflakes are running the mainstream media networks. Pathetic."

People continued to mock Capehart as one user wrote, "He cried for his 200 views in which half of them are not watching."

Another wrote, "What a crybaby."
