The White House press corps was quickly escorted out as medical personnel from the White House Medical Unit arrived. The briefing paused for several minutes while aides stabilized Findlay.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the incident, saying, “During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted. RFK Jr’s actions draw online debate
Soon after the clip went viral, some social media users began claiming that Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who stood near the back of the room, appeared to walk out of the frame immediately after the collapse. This led to speculation that he had run away during the incident, leaving others to help.
In response to the buzz, White House Press Secretary Kush Desai clarified that Kennedy did not actually leave the room. "The Secretary rushed to get medical assistance while others tended to the man, you ghoul," Desai posted on X.
