WASHINGTON, DC: Ever wondered about President Donald Trump’s late-night routine? According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, even those closest to Trump remain in the dark.
While discussing her working relationship with the 79-year-old president, Bondi praised his dedication and remarked that no one really knows when he sleeps.
Trump is known for functioning on very little sleep, a fact recently highlighted by figures like Kid Rock and JD Vance.
Pam Bondi shares her insights into Trump’s sleeping routine

On Monday, September 15, Attorney General Pam Bondi shared her insights into Donald Trump’s late-night habits during 'The Katie Miller Show' at the 23:42 timestamp.
She praised Trump as “the kindest, warmest, toughest, smartest human being I know” before discussing the 79-year-old president’s unusual sleeping patterns.
Bondi said, “None of us can keep up with him, we always joke. I don’t know how he does it. I mean, none of us know when he sleeps. He’s working all the time and it’s just constant for him.” She added, “There aren’t enough hours in the day for any of us.” Trump frequently posts late at night on his Truth Social account, often typing in all capital letters and sometimes appearing erratic.

According to the National Institute on Aging, people around Trump’s age need seven to nine hours of sleep each night. The institute also notes that many older adults don’t sleep well, and medications or medical conditions common among seniors can affect sleep quality.
Concerns grow over Trump's lack of sleep at night
Pam Bondi's remarks came just over a week after Vice President JD Vance highlighted Trump’s relentless energy. In an interview on 'My View with Lara Trump,' Vance shared, “Sometimes the president will call you at 12:30 or 2:00 in the morning, and then he’ll call you at 6:00 in the morning about a totally different topic. It’s like, ‘Mr President, did you go to sleep last night?’”

Musician Kid Rock also weighed in on Trump’s unusual sleep habits, saying he and Trump both function well on just a few hours of rest. “I did this kind of sleep study a few years ago with the Cleveland Clinic, and the result was basically there’s like 2 percent of people who sleep four or five hours a night are just fine,” the 54-year-old artist told 'The Will Cain Show' in May.
He added, “The same thing with him. Like, you know, I’ll talk to him at two in the morning and then, you know, sometimes after I have a few beers, I’m like, 'Hey, what’s up?' And then he’ll call me at like 5:00 am and be like, 'How do you like it.' I’m like, 'I’m up. I’m ready to go.'”
These anecdotes come amid renewed attention on Trump’s health, driven by visible signs such as swollen ankles and persistent bruising on his hands.
