WASHINGTON, DC: Musician and MAGA enthusiast Kid Rock revealed how the long-anticipated meeting between President Donald Trump and comedian Bill Maher at the White House on Tuesday, April 1, went during his appearance on 'Fox & Friends' the next morning.

Trump, Maher, and Rock met for dinner at the White House on Tuesday night, accompanied by UFC head Dana White, Mediaite reported. The meeting was arranged by Rock, who first proposed it to Maher while appearing on his podcast 'Club Random'.

Over the past weekend, Trump confirmed the meeting in a post on Truth Social, stating that he was not very fond of the idea but was willing to be "proven wrong."

Kid Rock recalled the dinner experience at the White House on 'Fox & Friends' as a "pleasant" surprise for everyone involved, as the MAGA leader broke bread with one of his "hardest critics."

"We came to dinner, me, Bill, Dana White, and it could not have been better. Everyone was so surprised. It was so pleasant," shared Rock.

"The most shocking thing to me was Bill is obviously a big liberal and hard on the president. He’s donated a lot of money to other politicians, Biden, Clinton, Obama, he had never been to the White House," he added.

However, the singer's claim about the White House visit being Maher's first was incorrect, as Deadline reported that he interviewed former President Barack Obama in the Roosevelt Room in 2016.

"The president was gracious. Took us up to the private residence, we saw the Gettysburg Address in the Lincoln Bedroom. I was like, you’ve never been here, Bill? I was like, how about this? President Trump extending the olive branch," he continued.

The singer shared the topics of discussion, saying, "We talked about things we had in common. Ending wokeness, securing the border. The president was asking him what he thought about policy going on with Iran and Israel and things. It blew my mind. I was very proud."

He later added that the meeting had "everybody’s mind was blown, even the president’s."

Internet reacts to Donald Trump's meeting with Bill Maher

Social media users took to the comments section of the Mediaite article and trolled the people involved in the White House meeting between President Donald Trump and Bill Maher.

"I am shocked that a bunch of wealthy white males want to end wokeness," one reader commented.

"That Kid Rock is brokering deals with the president of the US is insane... What timeline is this," wrote another.

"There were no minds there to be blown," one person said.

"Civility is awesome. That doesn't make the policies and actions Trump has pushed simply vanish. He might be hilarious and engaging in person, but what he is doing to this country will take decades to recover from IF we ever do. Our entire Republic is at stake and his incompetence overwhelms niceties," another remarked.

"Breaking news 4 awful guys have dinner," one individual noted.

"90% of Maher’s shtick is attacking Democratic 'wokeness'. He’s pretty much MAGA himself," another added.
