WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump lashed out at Fox News on Tuesday, March 5, for having certain Republican commentators who have been critical of him. Despite having a cordial relationship with the conservative Fox News network for most of his political career, Trump has grown more critical of the network in recent years for several reasons.

One of these complaints has been that on occasion, it has highlighted Republican officials who oppose him and his influence on the GOP—people whom Trump has frequently referred to as 'RINOs' or 'Republicans in Name Only'.

Donald Trump criticizes Fox News in new social media post

Trump once again resorted to Truth Social to attack Fox News, following a broadcast that included Marc Thiessen, a former speechwriter for former President George W Bush. Though he maintained that Trump could still lose to Biden in November, Thiessen asserted during the presentation that Biden is the least popular president in American history.

Thiessen said, "If you think he can't win, I got two words for you, Senator Fetterman. I mean, the voters have said that if they don't like the GOP alternative, they will vote for a guy who just had a stroke, who had a debate where he couldn't put a coherent sentence together."

He added, "And Donald Trump is the only person who's less popular than Joe Biden is Donald Trump. A lot of people don't want this choice. And so it could go either way."

Trump responded to this segment by writing on Truth Social that Fox News need to stop presenting Thiessen and Karl Rove, two other former Bush administration officials.

Trump wrote, "How many times is FoxNews going to put on RINO Bush apologist Marc Thiessen? He was wrong about me in 2016, and in 2020 I got more votes than any sitting President in history, but the Election was RIGGED. My record on Endorsements is unmatched by anyone, EVER! Put on people who understand what is going on in politics...And while you're at it, GET RID OF KARL ROVE!!!"

Trump's track record of endorsements has been questioned in recent years, despite his assertions. In the 2022 midterm elections, Trump supported candidates in crucial congressional elections in crucial swing states who ultimately lost to Democrats. His influence was cited as a possible factor in the Republicans' failure to retake the Senate that year and their narrow victory in the House.

Internet stays divided as Trump lashes out at FOX News

People on the internet had mixed reactions as Donald Trump lashed out at FOX News in one of his recent social media posts. A user on X wrote, "Please stop the lies" while one added, "The fact that Donald Trump can’t bring himself to say he lost the election (or even just stop talking about it altogether) is why he’s a man not fit to serve."

A person also stated, "You NEVER got the popular vote....the will of the people. Not in 2016, nor in 2020" while one added, "Fox is trash! Stopped listening after Brett Baird called Arizona with 3% of the votes in, in the stolen election!"

A person also wrote, "It was Joe Biden who got more votes than any president in US history. He beat you by 7 million votes. And he’s going to do it again in November."
