CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE: The latest Republican primary advertisement was released on Tuesday, December 26, by former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, in New Hampshire that features the state’s governor, Chris Sununu (R), endorsing Haley's candidacy as she seeks to challenge former President Donald Trump in the state's upcoming primary.

In the advertisement, Sununu, a four-term governor of the Granite State, lauds Haley as the ideal choice for the January 23, 2024, Republican primary.

Sununu describes Haley as a leader who fosters the growth of individuals, and as a 'Live Free Or Die' Republican who comprehends the significance of fiscal responsibility and individual liberty, citing the state's motto.

The New Hampshire governor also highlighted Haley as a new generation of conservative leadership who can help move the GOP forward from the upheaval and controversies of its past.

What did Nikki Haley’s advertisement featuring Gov. Chris Sununu entail?

Governor Chris Sununu has recently emerged as Nikki Haley's most vocal advocate, having publicly endorsed the former South Carolina governor earlier this month on December 12, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Haley has surged in the polls in New Hampshire, becoming the first candidate to close the gap on Trump's primary advantage in any early-voting state.

“A president should bring out the best in all of us. That’s Nikki Haley,” Sununu says in the new ad from Haley's campaign. “She’s a leader who builds people up. She’s a live free or die Republican who understands fiscal responsibility and individual liberty.”

Sununu added, “She’s a new generation of conservative leadership who can help leave behind the chaos and the drama of the past.”

He concluded his part, saying, “We have an amazing opportunity. Let's win with Nikki Haley because we've got a country to save.”

Haley’s campaign spokesperson Olivia Perez-Cubas told The Hill, “(Sununu’s) endorsement is the latest evidence of Nikki’s growing momentum. With just 28 days until the New Hampshire primary, Nikki Haley is ready to bring ‘Live Free or Die’ to the White House.”

Despite the recent upswing in momentum, Haley and other primary candidates from the GOP are still far behind Trump in the race for the presidency.

Haley's support in New Hampshire is approximately 27 percent, whereas Trump has 44 percent support.

It is worth noting that Haley leads all other GOP candidates in the state of New Hampshire, with former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie taking 11 percent support and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis holding around 8 percent, according to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ average of polls.

In comparison, Trump holds a more significant lead nationally, with around 65 percent support. DeSantis follows him at 11 percent, with Haley close behind, getting 10 percent support.
