LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stephen Colbert has once again demonstrated his knack for sharp wit and humor, this time in the midst of the ongoing saga involving former President Donald Trump and adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

As Daniels gave her testimony, Colbert seized the moment to coin a fitting celebrity couple nickname for the pair: "Stumpy."

During his 'The Late Show', Colbert didn't shy away from poking fun at the peculiarities of the situation, despite certain guidelines surrounding Daniels' testimony.

Stephen Colbert's comedic take on testimony and Trump's 'stumpy' revelation

While she was allowed to discuss her encounter with Trump, there were limitations on certain descriptions. Colbert couldn't resist teasing the absurdity of the situation, much to the delight of his audience.

"What we did get [during Daniels’ testimony] was a thorough retelling of their one night of passionate sexing when Trump and Stormy became the celebrity couple, Stumpy," Colbert quipped, before adding, "I’m sorry, I forgot. Not supposed to describe his genitalia."

Colbert's playful banter didn't stop with "Stumpy." He delved further into comedic territory, cracking jokes about Trump's anatomy with lines like "itsy bitsy, teeny weeny" and likening his genitalia to "a leather-looking toiletry bag." The late-night host's irreverent humor knows no bounds, even in the face of legal proceedings.

Unveiling Donald Trump's surprising lack of preparation

The host of CBS's late-night show also ridiculed Trump for his post on Truth Social, where he expressed astonishment at Daniels' testimony, stating . “This is unprecedented, no time for lawyers to prepare."

“Wait a second, did you just say no time to prepare? It did not occur to you and your lawyers that the Stormy Daniels hush money trial might involve an appearance by Stormy Daniels?” Colbert said. “That’s like a cook at Burger King saying, ‘Oh my god, someone ordered a Whooper. What do we do?’”

But amidst the laughter, Daniels' testimony provided intriguing insights into her encounter with Trump. Her description of spanking Trump with a magazine and his alleged remarks about his marital situation added layers of intrigue to an already sensational story. Trump's visible reaction in court only added fuel to the comedic fire.

Social media commentary on Stormy Daniels' testimony

Social media erupted with a flurry of reactions following Stormy Daniels' testimony, offering a spectrum of opinions on the unfolding drama.

One user wrote, "Imagine the trauma the court sketch artist would endure?"

Another said, "Poor woman Had to do it with this orange clown."

One commented, "The reasoning behind Noem taking out Kim’s contact is because she insulted him “tiny dictator”. Trump would have been very disappointed, that’s his BFF!"

Another added, "Can't be a sole assailant Oswald was the fall guy and jack ruby the cover up."

One user wrote, "They should let Stormy describe it so they make sure she’s telling the truth."

Another said, "Don't trade disappointment for disaster."
