WASHINGTON, DC: Illinois Gov JB Pritzker (D) took a jibe at Republican VP pick JD Vance by calling him 'Donald Trump Mini-Me' during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Wednesday, July 24.

Pritzker is reportedly considered a potential running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris, according to HuffPost.

JB Pritzker calls JD Vance 'Donald Trump Mini-Me'

Pritzker said during the interview, "He’s the Donald Trump Mini-Me. Donald Trump has done terribly in Illinois. And across the Midwest, there is a growing sense that JD Vance just doesn’t stand where most Illinoisans and most Midwesterners stand. So, you know, it’s a question."

Moreover, he called Vance the worst launch since Sarah Palin. He also said that Trump seemed to be 'drifting away' from Vance. "So, I’m not sure if Donald Trump is going to frankly throw him off the ticket and pick somebody else because he’s been just terrible on the stump," Pritzker said.

Notably, JD Vance was selected by Trump as his VP Pick on July 15. Since then, he has faced several criticisms. He was criticized for his controversial 'childless cat ladies' comment on Democratic women and he was also trolled online for the absurd defense of his wife as she faced white supremacist attacks.

Moreover, the potential running mate for Harris, Pritzker has advocated for women's reproductive rights and cited Illinois as a model state for women trying to have access to healthcare.

Many progressive policies, including the outlawing of assault weapons, ghost guns, and switches, raising the minimum wage, enshrining abortion rights in legislation, legalizing cannabis, and erasing records, have all been signed into law by him.

Internet trolls JD Vance as Pritzker rips him with weird Trump title

People on the internet trolled JD Vance as JB Pritzker called him 'Donald Trump Mini-Me' during a CNN interview. Some people believed he was getting the right treatment while some said Trump added precisely zero new votes with the pick.

A user wrote on X, "I still don’t know why Trump picked Vance. He added precisely zero new votes with that pick," while one added, "First, it was Trump, and now JD Vance is getting the treatment."

A person also stated, "Will JD Vance last longer than a head of lettuce," whereas one mentioned, "Very deserved. trump hates that he made this choice for loser VP, but they're both awful people and liars, so they suit each other very well."

A user also commented, "There are people in his own state that are tired of dude. I'm one of them," while one said, "Every time I see Trump/Vance I laugh out loud."

A person wrote, "Vance is the new Blake Masters."
