WASHINGTON, DC: Charlamagne Tha God has urged Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, to make more appearances on Fox News.

The radio host made this recommendation during a discussion with Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov, who is known for her liberal viewpoint on the network.

Charlamagne Tha God urges Harris campaign to embrace Fox News after Jessica Tarlov's praise

Jessica Tarlov praised her experience at Fox News, which led Charlamagne Tha God to suggest that the Harris campaign should follow suit.

“I’m glad you said that. That’s something that I’ve suggested to a lot of liberals, you know, especially the VP now running for president,” Charlamagne said, referring to Harris.

He argued that engaging with Fox News could be beneficial, just as it has been for other prominent Democrats in the past.

Charlamagne’s advice comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding his political views. In May, he faced backlash on 'The View' for refusing to endorse President Joe Biden, shortly before Biden paused his reelection campaign and endorsed Harris as his successor.

Charlamagne Tha God advocates for Fox News engagement

“Go on Fox,” Charlamagne Tha God urged. “President [Barack] Obama used to do it. You know, Gavin Newsom did it. When he started doing it, they started talking about him being — running for president. Secretary [Pete] Buttigieg does it all the time. Go on there.”

Tarlov responded by noting that Walz had recently appeared on Fox News. “Tim Walz was on two weeks ago. He did America’s Newsroom, which is, you know, a hard news program from 9 to 11 in the morning. And he was great,” she said. “You know, he’s super affable no matter what environment he’s in. But I love it when I see elected officials showing up.”

Tarlov also advised Democrats on the importance of reaching the largest audience possible through Fox News, which has been outperforming its cable news competitors in terms of ratings.

“It’s a great venue for people to show up on,” she said. “And just if you want to talk to the most people possible, you’re going to go to Fox.”
