LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A new report has revealed that Presley Gerber suffered cardiac arrest before his untimely death.
Presley, the only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, was just 27 years old when he died on September 20.

A Page Six report, citing 911 dispatch audio, has claimed that the young model suffered cardiac arrest before his death.
The publication reported that an automated voice was heard saying “cardiac arrest” during the emergency call before an address was provided that matched the location where Presley died.
Presley was staying at a California rehab facility at the time of his death.
Following the call, police officers, paramedics and firefighters reportedly arrived at the address and remained there for nearly three hours.
Santa Monica police investigate Presley Gerber’s death
Hours after Presley’s death, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office issued a statement that read, “The investigation is still ongoing and there is limited information available.”
“Death was pronounced at 09:45 hours on September 20, 2026, by responding paramedics. The Santa Monica Police Department is the investigating law enforcement agency,” the statement added, as per TMZ.
However, Presley’s family members have not publicly commented on the tragedy. A representative for the family said they were “asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
Presley Gerber reportedly sought rehab before his death
Meanwhile, Page Six, citing an insider, reported that Presley checked himself into the rehab facility “this weekend” because “he knew he needed help.”
“He had not been doing well. He’s always suffered from a huge lack of self-esteem and had trouble accepting his real self and feeling fully confident in who he was as a person,” the source shared.
The insider further explained that “energetically, he didn’t seem like himself,” before adding that Presley “felt like he was lacking purpose in his life,” “hadn’t really found his place” and “didn’t really know where he wanted to go and what he wanted to do.”
Presley Gerber opened up about mental health struggles
Meanwhile, Presley had previously spoken openly about his mental health struggles.
Three years ago, in an interview with Rolling Stone, he said, “[Mental health] is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s so much to it."
He added, "That’s really what I want to do: help people, whether you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean it could be anything, and there’s no judgment.”
Presley had also started an Instagram series called ‘Mental Health Mondays’, where he reportedly mentioned, “It’s been incredible seeing how far that message has spread and how many people it’s helped. I’m proud that something I created has inspired others and started a bigger movement around openness and healing.”
