Prince Harry and Meghan Markle facing 'beginning of the end' of professional relationship, claims expert
MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been nearing the "beginning of the end" of their professional relationship after the Duke attended several solo engagements in New York.
As per sources, the Duke of Sussex also took a solo flight to start a number of projects involving some of his major charities, including the Diana Awards, while the Duchess remained in California.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embark on separate professional lives
Following a string of setbacks in Hollywood, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have begun to publicly detach themselves from their combined Sussex brand.
Speaking to GB News, royal author Angela Levin explained that the royal couple is in trouble because their apparent professional separation has revealed a "sad" side to Harry while in New York.
Harry also made a surprising cameo on American television with Jimmy Fallon, going on a haunted maze adventure with the late-night comedian and giving fans a rare look at his goofy and sociable side.
When enquired if Meghan was "fed up" with Harry, Levin said, "All of the conversations were very negative, he was very sad about a lot of things, saying we've got to change the world, but actually what he means, I think, is that he wants to change his own world."
Levin added: "So you have to work out why has this happened — was Meghan fed up with him to get rid of him for ten days? Are they really just going to divide their work? What actually is the reason?"
Harry made the most of his time in New York to promote his humanitarian endeavors, while Meghan remained in California, as per OK! Magazine.
Levin asserted that she felt "this is the beginning of the end" referring to Harry and Meghan's relationship. She said, "My own feeling is that this is the beginning of the end. Because once she finds that she's okay on her own, then she's satisfied."
"As we've seen throughout her life, she drops people when she no longer needs them, and I think that will be what happens around the corner," she said.
Meghan Markle 'controls' Prince Harry as relationship approaches 'beginning of the end'
Royal expert Angela Levin asserted that Harry "needs her all of the time" and is "controlled" by the Duchess in response to GBN presenter Nana Akua's question on whether she thought Harry has "woken up" from his "haze of love" for Meghan.
"I think if he was very popular, he would be very positive with the way he talks about the charities. The thing that we saw that was very popular was when he was with Jimmy Fallon, taking on the haunted maze," Levin explained.
"There we saw the original Harry. He was laughing, he was enjoying himself, he was as happy as can be. He's gone back to being a teenager and enjoying himself."
But Levin emphasized that Harry's "anxiety" and "nerves" were evident in his first few New York engagements, implying he felt he needed his wife at his side.
"What's very interesting is that he was there by himself. He can't do anything without Meghan - for the first few charities he was going to, he was incredibly anxious," she continued.
Levin added: "He was fiddling with his hands and adjusting his tie, and he was really nervous. That shows you that Meghan is controlling him so much, that he doesn't know how to manage by himself."
Prince Harry set to return to the UK for 'royal engagements'
According to reports, Prince Harry's solo trip back to the UK for the WellChild Awards on Monday, October 1, marked a continuation of his "professional separation" from wife Meghan.
Prince Harry's recent public appearances in New York raised concerns regarding his working relationship with the Duchess of Sussex, following a run of solo engagements.
Former Sun Royal Correspondent Charles Rae revealed to GB News that it's "interesting" to see Harry taking part in more "royal engagements" without Meghan, both in the UK and in New York.
"It's interesting, we're now seeing in effect a separation - not of their marriage, but of their work and work duties," Rae said.
"You've got Harry doing a few of what we would consider to be royal jobs or royal visits, whereas Meghan is still at home."
Rae claimed that Meghan would "never return to the UK again" in light of her decision to skip Harry's table at the WellChild Awards on Monday and her ongoing estrangement from the country.
"In terms of Meghan, I'm of the school that does not believe that Meghan will ever return to this country. And by implication, it means that the children, unless they're much older, will not be back in this country for the for the foreseeable future," Rae said.
