MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry looked thoughtful and sad while talking about his childhood memories during a recent TV appearance. Harry and Meghan Markle appeared on ABC’s new documentary, 'The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland.'

According to the Daily Express UK, a body language expert analyzed Harry’s appearance and shared her opinion about his behavior and facial expressions.

He recalled visiting Disneyland as a child with his late mother, Princess Diana, and his brother, Prince William, sharing a mix of nostalgic and sad feelings.

Body language expert notes Prince Harry’s nostalgic mood

Prince Harry, 41, appeared on ABC’s documentary 'The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland' alongside his wife Meghan Markle, 44.

According to the Daily Express UK, speaking from their home in Montecito, the couple shared their love and excitement for Disneyland, recalling their experiences both as children and now as parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Remembering his childhood visits, Prince Harry said, “I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it, like ‘oh this is amazing.’ With my mom and my brother. I remember it very well.”

Although he initially spoke with happiness and excitement about his Disneyland visits, body language expert Judi James told the publication that he appeared “sadder” when talking about his childhood.

She explained: “Harry doesn’t just talk about his childhood memories, he acts them out, going into a childlike state with his body language to express his excitement at the time, but then falls into a more nostalgic and sad mood when reflecting on those memories as an adult.”

“As he talks about the rides, his shoulders rise along with his eyebrows in a childlike expression of excitement,” she added.

James also noted: “When he talks about ‘losing it,’ he looks upward too, mimicking the small child he once was, wide-eyed with wonder at all the magical rides. He even gasps a few times.”

“But when he tells the interviewer he ‘went there with my mom and my brother,’ his eyes drop in an eye-dart, reflecting on those two people, and his facial expression turns sadder,” she continued.

Prince Harry reflects on his children's Disneyland experience

Prince Harry and Meghan shared memories of their children at Disneyland and how they spent their daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday there.

“To see the kids throw themselves into these experiences when they have no idea what they’re walking into, it was amazing,” Harry said in the documentary special. “It brings out the kid in you again.”
