Prince William wears 'papa' bracelet as a sweet reminder of his children when away from home
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA: Prince William was recently spotted wearing an adorable friendship bracelet with the word 'papa' written on it during his visit to Cape Town, South Africa, Hello! reported on Monday, October 4.
The Prince of Wales is on a four-day visit to the country, where he joined 120 young environmentalists from Africa and Southeast Asia as part of the inaugural Earthshot Prize Climate Leaders Youth Programme.
According to the Daily Mail, the friendship band may have been made by his 9-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, who is known to be a fan of arts and crafts as well as the pop star Taylor Swift, who encourages her fans for such endeavors.
The sweetest thing you’ll see today! Prince William is wearing a bracelet that says ‘PAPA’. I haven’t read that anyone gave it to him in South Africa, and we know his children call him that, so it’s likely one of them—or all of them—gave it to him! pic.twitter.com/oi4Xfb17OP

Friendship bracelets may have become a trend in the royal family
Princess Charlotte has been previously spotted wearing similar bracelets, including a Taylor Swift themed-one during her outing to Wimbledon with her mother, Kate Middleton.
The same day, her brother, Prince George, also sported a blue friendship bracelet on his left wrist while accompanying his father to the Euro 2024 England-Spain match.
The bracelets have added an enduring touch to the public appearances of the royals, and even the monarch himself reportedly joined in on the trend.
Hello! reported that King Charles had a neon bracelet subtly peeking out from the cuff of his suit during his recent visit to Guernsey. The bracelet added a splash of color to his sharp grey outfit on the day that happened to be the 77th birthday of the Queen consort, Camilla.

"It's your platform, use it as you need to, take it away, play with it, turn it into something different. Because we believe in you and what you're going to do is change the world, I really believe that," continued William.
"This is the generation that is going to do that. And your solutions and your impact are so important and so needed right now... What you're doing is creating solutions and a better life for all of us. Keep it going, keep the energy up," the Prince of Wales added.
