Rapper Skepta warns Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after stranger hugs North at PFW

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rapper Skepta has issued a stern warning to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after their daughter North West was hugged by an adult man at a Paris Fashion Week event last Friday, June 26.

The 43-year-old commented on a video of North meeting crowds at Paris Fashion Week that surfaced online.

North West was hugged despite her reluctance

In the video, the 13-year-old can be seen reaching out for a handshake when approached by the man. But that person, completely ignoring her hand, leaned in and hugged her before clicking pictures with her. 

The episode happened at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show.

Skepta says men behaving around North West 'makes me sick'

Sharing that clip on X, Skepta wrote, “A blind man could see she wanted a handshake kmt.”

In another post, the London native stated, “My fans know I try to stay out of people's business, but damn the way grown men, complete strangers, try to use North makes me sick.”

But when some of the X users tried to point the finger at North, and her famous parents, the English grime MC asserted, “She is 13 years old, and she put her hand out for a handshake, you don’t ignore that. I can’t believe some of these replies to my tweet.”

Skepta says schools should teach 'body language’

He then went on to urge, “WOW!! 😢 Protect your kids, people. Protect your kids!” before adding, “Sickening 🤮 schools teaching French, German & English when really the language most people need to fucking learn is ‘Body Language’.”

North is the eldest child of Kim and the 49-year-old rapper, who is her ex-husband. Their other three children are — Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7.

Much like her parents, North has also embarked on her professional path as she released her debut album ‘N0rth4evr’ in May. Also in 2024, she was the voice behind Simba’s song, ‘I Just Can’t Wait to Be King’, at ‘The Lion King’ concert event at the Hollywood Bowl.
