WASHINGTON, DC: On Saturday, February 24, during his rally in National Harbor, Maryland, Donald Trump committed an awful mistake when he asserted that Joe Biden ought to be the next president in 2024.

Trump said of Vladimir Putin while agreeing with him, "He did announce the other day that he’d much rather see Biden as President. And I agree with him. I agree."

Donald Trump's verbal gaffes

According to OK!, this error occurred a few days after the father-of-five gave an unintelligible speech on Thursday, February 22, when visiting Nashville, Tennessee. During his speech, Trump also claimed that he relocated the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2018.

Trump falsely claimed, "I did it, and therefore Israel became the capital, and it was a big thing."

Although the former senator from Delaware is a Roman Catholic, Trump claimed in another speech segment that the Biden administration was persecuting Roman Catholics.

Trump said, "No one will be touching the cross of Christ under the Trump administration, I swear to you. They want you to say what they want you… what they want to have you say. And we’re not gonna let that happen."

He added, "You’re going to say as you want and you’re going to believe and you’re going to believe in God. You’re gonna believe in God because God is here and God is watching. And God probably can’t believe what he’s seeing!"

Internet mocks Donald Trump for his verbal errors

After the clip went viral on the internet, several people ended up mocking the former president. A user posted on X, "So Trump agrees Biden should be President? Haha. It’s not a blunder! It’s a rare moment of lucidity!" while one added, "Finally something I can agree with him on."

A user also wrote, "What if it not a blunder.. He knows what he is saying..might be a plan or strategy" whereas one commented, "Is Trump just reaching in his diapers for bronzer now ?"

A person further stated, "This makes us wonder what Trump is thinking or trying to do by saying something unexpected like this" whereas a user said, "I can't believe Trump actually said he'd rather have Biden as president. What a shocking statement. It's hard to understand his reasoning behind this."
