‘Real Housewives’ alum Brandi Glanville to have ‘face taken off’ for parasite removal procedure
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Brandi Glanville has announced that she will soon go under the knife to treat her facial parasite issue.
The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ alum shared the news on the Thursday, October 21, episode of her ‘Brandi Glanville Unfiltered’ podcast, noting that she is getting ready to have her “face taken off” this week.

Brandi Glanville says her fungal balls are ‘alive’
During the podcast, Glanville told her co-host, James Maas, “Dr. Carlo Henrado is taking my face off on Friday and going to do an exploratory surgery to kind of do a power wash under my skin.”
The 53-year-old former model further explained that her doctor believes that there are two things inside her face and they can be either “fungal balls or something alive.”
“I think it’s alive, personally, because it moves when it wants,” she added. Glanville further expressed gratitude towards her “highly recommended” doctor, who agreed to do the surgery under her insurance amount limit along with an extra $5,000.
“But I’m OK with that. He’s like, ‘If I can cut the head off the beast, the snake, then the other stuff we’ll be able to get,” the TV personality explained, before accepting that she’s “super excited” but also “scared to death,” as she’s “never had facial surgery.”
Brandi Glanville’s procedure will be ‘more intensive’ than a facelift
The mother-of-two also said that she knows a woman who got herself a facelift, but, per the doctor, her procedure is set to be “more intensive.”

“He’s, like, literally going in there with a power washer, basically, and knives and all this. And then he’s spinning my blood and doing this platelet thing on the inside of my face. We might not want my blood at this point,” Glanville added.
Brandi Glanville revealed her diagnosis in September
The latest development came after ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’ star disclosed her diagnosis early last month.
Posting on Instagram, she stated, “I’m finally ready to tell you what I’ve actually been fighting and to start sharing some of my worst moments leading up to finally getting diagnosed.”
“I’ve been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis,” Glanville elaborated, before adding, “I also have a fungal ball in my face that needs to be removed. I have to get the metals from old dental work out of my mouth, my breast implants need to come out, and I’m looking at 4–6 months of daily IV treatment.”
