Rick Harrison shares throwback photos of 'amazing memories' with son Adam who died of drug overdose

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Rick Harrison shared a very sweet post remembering his son Adam, who died earlier this month.

Adam was 39 when he lost his life on January 19, 2024, due to a drug overdose. The ‘Pawn Stars’ lead took to Instagram and posted two old photos with Adam.

The second photo was about Harrison and Adam sleeping together on a couch while holding each other. The 58-year-old businessman captioned them as “amazing memories.”

Internet extends support to Rick Harrison 

The share received a lot of love and supportive messages from people as a user commented, “Sorry for your loss Mr Harrison. I lost my daughter last year same thing.”

Another user wrote, “I am so sorry for the irreparable loss of your son. May God comfort you in these difficult times.”

“From a Brazilian in Portugal, I wish you lots of strength! Unimaginable something like this pain has no words,” the third one stated.

The fourth user remarked, “Sorry about all this Rick, you didn't deserve it, you and your TV programme will always be legendary, greetings from Italy my man. Stay strong, much love.”

A comment added, “I'm so sorry, a big hug from the Dominican Republic to you @rick_harrison.”

Rick Harrison's Adam died from fentanyl overdose

This came after Harrison told The New York Post that Adam “died from a fentanyl overdose. The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously.”

He added, “It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Besides, a few days after Adam’s death on Janaury 19, he posted on social media, “You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam.”

A follower of Harrison posted below the photo, “So sorry for your loss. No Parent should ever have to watch their child go before them. You'll see him on the other side though. Stay strong in the meantime.”
