LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Adam Harrison, the son of 'Pawn Stars' leader Rick Harrison, reportedly passed away from an overdose. He was 39.

Both the exact time of Adam's death and the circumstances surrounding it are currently unknown.

The Harrison family was informed on Friday, January 19, that Adam had overdosed to death, per a representative for the History Channel star, as reported by TMZ on Friday.

The Harrison family released a statement to TMZ: "Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss."

According to the outlet, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department is looking into the situation.

Adam was the most private of Rick Harrison's three sons

With his first wife, Kim, Rick has two sons, Adam and Corey; with his second wife, Tracy, he has a third son, Jake.

Adam was the most reserved of Rick's three children because he did not appear on the reality series or use social media.

Rick's second child, according to Daily Mail, had first assisted at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop featured on the History Channel series but had moved on to pursue his own career.

It appears that Adam was never mentioned in the reality show, which aired for 22 seasons beginning in 2009.

According to TMZ, there is a great deal of mystery about Adam because not much is known about him. As per sources, he worked some sort of trade, though it's unclear exactly what it was. Others believe he was a plumber for a living.

Rick has been married twice before. He married Amanda Palmer in 2021 after being married to Deanna Burditt for a year from 2013 to 2020.

Established in 1989 in Las Vegas, the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop is a family-run enterprise. 'Pawn Stars' Season 23 is scheduled to debut later in 2024.
