Rihanna and ASAP Rocky mark son Riot’s third birthday with Spider-Man-themed party

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s second-born child, Riot Rose Mayers, turned three years old on August 1, 2026, and the couple left no stone unturned to ensure that the day was special for the toddler.

The pair marked the milestone with a Spider-Man-themed birthday party for their son, coinciding with the release of Marvel’s latest superhero film, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day.’ 

Videos and photos making the rounds on social media showed a private house transformed into a Spider-Man wonderland, with themed balloons, banners, standees and other eye-catching decorations.

The clips also showed what appeared to be an intimate gathering of family and close friends. Meanwhile, Rihanna’s sister-in-law, Nadia King, also took to Instagram to share more glimpses of the birthday festivities.

Nadia offered a peek inside Riot's birthday party by sharing a clip on Instagram with the text, "The only Crop Over party I have the energy to attend this year," written on top of the video. The footage showed Spider-Man-themed pop-ups, including red, black and blue-colored balloons and a makeshift entry gate, among other decor. 

The clip also showcased a display of “Riot 3” written in Spider-Man-themed colors and a “Kid Bar,” offering customized cakes with a choice of flavors, toppings and sauces to the attendees. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky also appeared in the video at one point, seemingly singing “Happy Birthday” to their son, alongside other guests. 

The couple kept their outfit casual, matching with the intimate arrangement. The ‘Love the Way You Lie’ singer wore a light pink dress and styled her hair in braids while her partner opted for a white T-shirt, sunglasses, baseball cap and printed scarf. 

Nearly a month before his birthday bash, Riot also received a shoutout from his father during his ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ tour stop in Los Angeles on June 27. As Rihanna held their son in the crowd, Rocky took the mic onstage to say, “Riot Rose, hey son! Hey buddy, Daddy loves you, son.”

ASAP Rocky and Rihanna, who welcomed Riot in 2023, are also proud parents to four-year-old son RZA and 10-month-old daughter Rocki. The pair have been together since 2020.

This is not the first time the Hollywood couple went all out to celebrate one of their children's birthdays. Back in May, they rented out the Sloomoo Institute to arrange an immersive slime experience for their eldest son, RZA’s fourth birthday. 

Per People Magazine, a representative from the institution revealed that the party featured customized slime-making stations, interactive activities, and the “Sloomoo Falls,” where guests could get drenched in slime. Similarly, the duo also rented out the Color Factor for RZA’s second birthday and arranged a color-themed immersive and interactive party.
